Our farm is open fields, tons of trees to play hide and seek in, and lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim. There are ungroomed “walking trails” that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space. The Fence is not for extremely small dogs as they could get through if they wanted to see pictures. more for medium sized dogs or larger dogs. Small dogs still welcomed just wanted you to be aware. Pull all the way down back - we have Plenty of parking. walk through the gate and enjoy. We allow 2 human guests per visit if you have extra human guests you will have to add on an extra. Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. It is not just a place to run — it is a thoughtfully designed environment where dogs can move at their own pace, build confidence, and enjoy off-leash freedom without the pressure of a public dog park. I have a .5 acre lot, completely fenced in with a 6 ft high chain link fence. My yard provides, a (orange hose) for water or to fill dog pool, seating, treats, poop bags / scoopers with trash can, dog beds, small play area available inside the fenced in area and more! These camps are cherished family properties, and due to shoreline regulations, a camp lost to fire likely could not be rebuilt in its current location. • Chairs are out by the docks. If you want to bring your own for the little beach area pls feel free! • Water is on! Spigot on side of camp for your use. • Please remember to carry out all dog waste if metal trash can not present. Do not put in our general trash. If your pup poops well into the woods you can leave it :) ⸻ Open year-round, this private 5+ acre Sniffspot offers plenty of room to roam, explore, and swim on a beautiful peninsula extending into Balch Lake. Park at the top of the hill and enjoy a scenic walk down, giving your pup a true “Sniffari” experience along the way. At the end, you’ll be rewarded with peaceful lake views and a perfect spot for your dog to splash, swim, and play. Prefer not to walk? You’re welcome to drive directly down to the lake access area. This property is unfenced but very private, with the peninsula providing a natural barrier and minimal outside traffic. Please note: • The access road is sand and gravel. Sturdy footwear is recommended if walking. • Recent rain can create some ruts, and the road is due for grading. • SUVs and trucks are recommended for driving down the hill. • Sedans can typically make it down as well (ours does!), but please use your best judgment based on road conditions. • Balch Lake is a shared lake, and you may see boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and dogs accompanying boaters on the water. • Sound can carry across the lake, making people or dogs seem closer than they actually are. • As with any unfenced property, please ensure your dog has reliable recall or keep them leashed based on your comfort level and your dog’s abilities.
