Loved this spot again, the swimming and the trails are a blast for my dog. Fair warning, I’ve pulled 7 ticks off him so far, even being on two tick preventions, so be sure to check your dog and yourself!

We had a blast here!! There is so much to explore and the hosts are so friendly. Our dog got to swim and run and play. We walked on the trails and then had time for him to swim afterwards. The lake is so clean. We will 100% be back, such a great find to get our dog out of the city for a few hours.

This place is amazing! My dogs and I had a great time. There are lots of nicely maintained trails to walk and space for the dogs to run. The host is great and was so nice to meet us on our visit and explain the property to us.

Great spot! Very quiet and peaceful. My dog loved sniffing all of the animal tracks and running along the trails.
There are a couple of places that go right by the road—we didn’t have an issue and walked all of the trails including those areas, but they’re easy to avoid if you’re concerned. My dog found a coyote carcass in the middle of the property, so there’s definitely wildlife around! We didn’t run into any ATVs

This was my first time visiting a SniffSpot. It was wonderful. As other reviews have stated, there is a section of the atv paths that go near the road. But there are plenty of paths that don't go near the road too.
I visited in the winter and didn't see another human or any animals. I did see plenty of deer tracks in the snow though. The majority of this SniffSpot is tree lined so my dogs naturally stayed within the boundary dispite there being no fence.
I spent an hour here and there were plenty of paths to occupy that whole time without backtracking. I'll definitely be going back again.

George's 40 Acre Unfenced Dog Park is a vast, tranquil space allowing a long walk my Australian Cattle Dog, Medika. Her recall is relaxed at this point, whereby "COME" is a suggestion in her highly independent assessment rather than a command. We begin training soon to correct this, but for now and moving forward this is an optimal setting for multiple reasons. Foremost, Medika can run, explore, dig & ramble to her heart's content. The entire area is interconnected trails, with wide open fields, a pond, tall grass, forest, hills & valleys throughout: a physical workout for you & your pup. One trail parallels briefly with the public road, but all other trails lead well inside the interior. No ATVs were present during our visit. For me, it was a quiet, meditative ramble well worth the drive from downtown Albany. A second visit is already booked: its a place we'll enjoy throughout the year!

This is a great spot for off leash training and field work. There is a pond for swimming and water retrieves. There are fields with low cover and some with higher cover. I really enjoyed my first visit and look forward to going back.

Beautiful place! This was our first time at a Sniffspot so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was a bit confused about how to navigate the ground/map but Alana answered my question promptly. We wandered around the grounds a bit (the cows said hello) and then went back into the fully fenced in area. We went in the evening, and my dog Rory was thrilled that for the first time ever he got to chase a deer without me telling him to “leave it” or quickly recall him (the deer jumped the fence, Rory did not/could not)! I did a good tick-check afterwards and was pleasantly surprised to not find any. Some parts of the grounds were a bit soggy after all the rain, but Rory certainly didn’t mind and I brought a change of socks and shoes for the ride home. The stream was also convenient for a quick dog-rinse before getting in the car. Thanks again for allowing us to use your land

Beautiful property. We stayed mostly in the fenced in area (our coonhound loved being off leash without us having to worry too much about recall). We ventured off onto some paths and found a lovely stream where he could swim a little. Alana was so great, and supplied poop bags, tennis balls, paper towels, etc. The fields were pretty wet (to be expected with recent weather) and there was quite a bit of animal poop (also to be expected with it being a farm) But overall we had a great time, I would totally recommend letting your pup explore here!

this was our very first sniffspot and it was amazing! my boy rudy had a wonderful time exploring all the new sights and smells, as well as swimming in the stream (his favorite thing to do)! this was such a wonderfully enriching activity for both of us. the fenced area is very large and seems secure as long as your pup won't readily jump the 4-foot height. there's a lot going on in there including field-type area, a marshy section, and wooded areas, as well as some trees near the gate for nice shade. the stream is extremely accessible, and it was very clear where to park and which sections are available for exploring. alana was also very kind and quick to answer a few questions i had. she also let me know ahead of time that due to the rain lately, some of the grass was a bit high. this was perfectly fine for us as my boy really loved running through it and rolling in it! thank you!!

Beautiful place to explore. We stayed in the fenced area with our dog and his two best friends. They loved running freely (and rolling in poop, lol). We appreciated the paper towels provided. There was a tiny baby deer in the pasture — fortunately it was a faster runner than the dogs! Just something to be aware of.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.

Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
