Large space with multiple fenced in areas for your pups to enjoy! Ocean was very communicative and have all pertinent info. Place was easy to identify thanks to picture and our dogs has an awesome time sniffing and even doing some agility! Ocean stopped by to meet them with treats which was the best. She really goes above and beyond to have everything your pups need. Will def be coming here again to have them run and play.

Ocean was great! Upon meeting us, she provided water and treats at no extra cost. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating to my dog’s needs as a more anxious pup. She clearly enjoyed watching him run around and play while respecting his warming up to her. Each of the parks are clean and each one provides different activities for the dogs and owners to partake in and enjoy.

The host was amazing at communicating with me and making sure Luna had a good time! Completely fenced in space with a picnic table and agility equipment. A couple of dogs did pass by, so heads up if your pup is very sensitive to this, but imagine this is just very ocasional. There is a spot where I can imagine a very athletic dog jumping over it (they get on a cement square and then the fence isn't that high) but it is in a corner and you can see it and watch out for it. We will for sure visit again!!!

Park wasn’t open yet when we visited but the host was so kind and let us use the space anyway! She was super friendly and talked to us about what the space would be like when it was officially up and running! We will definitely be back!

Great spot! Very quiet and peaceful. My dog loved sniffing all of the animal tracks and running along the trails. There are a couple of places that go right by the road—we didn’t have an issue and walked all of the trails including those areas, but they’re easy to avoid if you’re concerned. My dog found a coyote carcass in the middle of the property, so there’s definitely wildlife around! We didn’t run into any ATVs

This was my first time visiting a SniffSpot. It was wonderful. As other reviews have stated, there is a section of the atv paths that go near the road. But there are plenty of paths that don't go near the road too. I visited in the winter and didn't see another human or any animals. I did see plenty of deer tracks in the snow though. The majority of this SniffSpot is tree lined so my dogs naturally stayed within the boundary dispite there being no fence. I spent an hour here and there were plenty of paths to occupy that whole time without backtracking. I'll definitely be going back again.

George's 40 Acre Unfenced Dog Park is a vast, tranquil space allowing a long walk my Australian Cattle Dog, Medika. Her recall is relaxed at this point, whereby "COME" is a suggestion in her highly independent assessment rather than a command. We begin training soon to correct this, but for now and moving forward this is an optimal setting for multiple reasons. Foremost, Medika can run, explore, dig & ramble to her heart's content. The entire area is interconnected trails, with wide open fields, a pond, tall grass, forest, hills & valleys throughout: a physical workout for you & your pup. One trail parallels briefly with the public road, but all other trails lead well inside the interior. No ATVs were present during our visit. For me, it was a quiet, meditative ramble well worth the drive from downtown Albany. A second visit is already booked: its a place we'll enjoy throughout the year!

Great piece of land for the dogs to explore. Easy to find. Didn't see anyone on ATVs while we were there.

A great space, with lots of nice trails. We saw quite a few people out on ATVs as forewarned we would, but otherwise nice a quiet. The dogs had a blast.

This is a great spot for off leash training and field work. There is a pond for swimming and water retrieves. There are fields with low cover and some with higher cover. I really enjoyed my first visit and look forward to going back.

Very accommodating. Dogs had a blast, beautiful scenery. ATV trails through property but it's so large we didn't see another soul. Great spot!

Our pup loved it here! Small tip for humans who want to hop in the water; would recommend bringing water shoes as it’s a rocky beach.

We found this place last minute and we are so glad we did. Our boy Zuko had the best time ever at the private beach and he swam for the first time. The owners are very kind and hospitable. I would recommend this to anyone to has their dog with them during the Cooperstown Baseball tournament!

FAQ about our Argyle indoor dog parks

Are indoor dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by park users so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Since indoor dog parks are completely enclosed, this adds another level of safety for your pup.
How can I find indoor dog parks near me?
There are 2 indoor dog parks in the Argyle area. The most popular indoor dog park is George's 40 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Nassau. You can browse all of our indoor dog parks here.
How do I know if an indoor dog park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as distractions, to find a dog park that works for your furry friends. If your dog doesn't respond to owner commands, indoor dog parks are a good choice due to their fully enclosed nature. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our indoor dog park sites where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can see any park amenities provided, including a park bench, water for dogs or water features such as kiddie pool or water hose. If your dog loves water, you can go to a park with water features, but if they don't love water, you can avoid them. We also recommend reading reviews to check for park maintenance issues and reaching out to the host with any questions. And lastly, of course, check park hours. Many of our parks are open from dawn until dusk.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that owners sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. We also require that pet owners follow safety protocols around water features.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot park at the same time as me?
No. We only allow one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits. So when you book a Sniffspot park you have the entire place to yourself and your dog-owning friends if you invite them. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings so you will not run into other park patrons when coming or leaving.
How much do Sniffspot indoor dog parks cost?
Indoor dog parks in the Argyle area range from $10 and $10. The least expensive indoor dog park is George's 40 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Nassau. The most expensive indoor dog park is George's 40 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Nassau. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
Can I have an event or party at an indoor dog park?
If you are planning an amazing indoor dog park party, each Sniffspot park has their own rules regarding special events. Many parks allow doggie birthday parties, training, water parties and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party. Make sure the park has amenities you need for your party, such as a park with lots of picnic tables with park benches.
