*PLEASE READ* I HAVE A POOL! Dogs, and their humans, are welcome in the pool by booking the appropriate EXTRA. Treating the pool for dogs cost extra and as such I need to charge so as to not lose money by offering it to guests. Two humans per dog is the limit. Please be mindful of this when booking. Thank you for respecting this rule. The pool bathroom IS AVAILABLE for your use while enjoying the park. Be sure to keep it clean and tidy as this is a shared space. Thank you! Plenty of space for your pup(s) to run around and get their zoomies out and lots of chairs, and plenty of parking which is saying a lot for northern Virginia.

Short Hill Field & Pond

Our spot is 10 acres of open flat land with a large spring-fed pond. It's perfect for dogs that love to swim, play long distance fetch, or just run in open space. We provide a large selection of toys, 30ft floating leash, extra poop bags, and a dedicated waste bin. There is also a dog wash station, towels, and a force dryer, so you won't have to take home a wet, dirty dog. --- Don't see a time available through the app? Nestled in a peaceful natural setting, this spacious open paddock gives dogs room to run, sniff, decompress, and enjoy structured outdoor time away from crowded dog parks. Perfect for: - reactive dogs - high-energy dogs - recall and obedience training - private playdates - working breeds - enrichment-focused outings - safe off-leash exercise This is the initial iteration of the Canine Cardio Adventure Field, and we plan to continue expanding and improving the space over time. Future additions may include: - agility equipment - lure course features - water and splash play areas - shaded seating and relaxation zones - enrichment obstacles - climbing and exploration features - training stations - additional canine fitness experiences Our goal is to create a unique private dog adventure and enrichment environment where dogs can safely exercise, build confidence, explore, and have fun in a controlled low-stress setting. Horse Farm in Lovettsville

Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. If your dog is under control or if the horses are not out, you can let them loose right after the broken fence. If you think your dog might be nutty with the horses, please take appropriate measures. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill, before the little ravine. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there. If you go to the red barn, you’ve gone too far. The trail is right at the base of the hill. We are looking forward to having you!
