This yard was one of his favorite places to run, play, lounge in the sun, and make memories with our family. We miss him every day and are currently building a memorial in the back left corner of the yard in his honor. Opening our yard to other dogs has become a special way to share the space Griffin loved so much. We like to think he would have been thrilled to welcome new visitors and spend hours catching up on everyone's "smell mail." The yard sits on a half-acre lot with plenty of room for dogs of all energy levels. Whether your pup enjoys sprinting laps, playing fetch, exploring every scent, or simply relaxing in the shade, there's room to do it all. We like to keep the grass short and well-maintained, so we mow and trim regularly, typically once a week and more often during periods of heavy rainfall and rapid growth. We also do our best to stay on top of seasonal insects, bugs, and changing weather conditions to keep the yard as enjoyable as possible. Afternoons and evenings are our favorite times to enjoy the yard. By then, the morning dew has dried, and much of the yard is shaded by the tree canopy, creating a comfortable environment for both people and pets. Even after a heavy rain, the yard generally drains well and dries quickly, with very little mud. On cooler evenings, it's a peaceful place to relax, listen to the sounds of nature, and watch dogs enjoy the freedom of the open space.

This is a great area, a farm secluded in the middle of Manassas. There is a large field on the side of the house that is mowed and maintained. Behind the field there is a wooded area that you can also explore with a small fence that will show you the boundary. There are some trails maintained and mowed throughout the wooded area as well. We are adjacent to the 234 bypass but a line of trees shield you from the sight of cars. There are no domestic animals here anymore but the fields are still here and beautiful. There is plenty of room for you and your dog to run around and enjoy some peace, quiet, and freedom!! You can throw your Frisbee or ball as far as you want! There is a covered little seating area and a hose for freshwater or if you need to hose down some feet. There is a trash can available and easy parking. We even have a huge sandbox for sanctioned digging! The queen and king of our hive are our (rescued) 5 year old spicy pibble, Sophie, and our 7 year old (also rescued) refined gentleman husky, Kasai. Our puppers love their yard, and we are so excited to be able to share it with you and your pup! We have somewhere between a third to a half acre in our backyard, fully enclosed with a 5 to 7-ft wood fence. We have shady spots, but there also aren't too many trees, so there is plenty of room to play fetch and run around. Amenities include a dog jump, a small dog tunnel, and furniture on the lower deck for you to sit down. There usually are a number of my dog's toys laying around (frisbees, balls, and ropes), which you are free to use while you are here. Please leave them in the yard on your way out though. We've had quite a bit of our stuff disappear over the years.

My husband and I have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! Our goal is to provide a space for all dogs to play, run and sniff away! We have a huge field with a platform/ramps, tug rope, agility poles, stick collection, hidden container with treats and possibly a prize toy! We host many special events for pups as well as birthday parties for your pups! I spent many years volunteering, fostering and ultimately adopting many animals from rescue non-profits over the years. Throughout all of the years I spent in animal rescues, I realized that most dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals have trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs.
