The yard slopes upward and is tiered, as you can see in the picture. I have a fully fenced yard that wraps all the way around from the front yard to the backyard. There is a small table and chair on the front porch that you are welcome to utilize as well as a large table and chairs in the backyard. There is also a stack of yellow chairs you are welcome to move around the yard. Both tables are equipped with ashtrays should you want to smoke (420 and cigarette friendly). You can find dog snacks and doggy bags in the ice chest or bin on the table in the backyard and a bowl of water next to the water hose by the table. All trash can go in the green trash bin on the side of the house. There is a power outlet by the back door as well as one on the side of the house by the black water barrel. Feel free to pick and snack on the berries growing in the backyard I just ask that you keep dogs out of the garden beds please. 2.1 acres of fully-fenced hiking heaven. As a dog owner/lover, this provides a necessary peace of mind. Pull inside the gate, and let ‘em lose! Poop happens typically w/in first 10 mins; bags can be disposed in trash. Hose water available by front door, back patio, and secure chicken coop area. All areas are fair game once you are inside the gate. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended.

Renton Oasis: Shady Hill Hobby Farm

Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby Farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (please note: during the summer months the creek can become muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing and barbed wire. The gate at the end of the gravel path marks the beginning of your off-leash experience! Once inside, you can head left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. For your convenience, we also provide a water hose for rinsing off your dog after playtime. The hose is located outside the Sniffspot along the fence near the sheep enclosure. We especially recommend using it during the dry season when the creek area tends to get muddy. Bringing towels is also a good idea. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Because this is an active farm with free-ranging chickens, we ask that all dogs remain leashed until they are inside the Sniffspot gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Fam

My yard is fully fenced, quiet and peaceful. The house, and yard, is set back off the street and has plenty of guest parking. Grass is mowed regularly and lots of bushes and smells for your pup to explore. Human seating below the deck. Dog bowl with water, water spigot, waste bags, hand sanitizer, garbage, and electric outlets all available for use. Enjoy!

The fence is fully fenced and private from other neighborhoods. There's two benches and a hammock for sitting, and tons of space for dogs to run around and dig. No pesticides or herbicides used in the yard.
