55This sniff spot was a beautiful large yard in a quiet area. There was flat space to play fetch and lots of shrubs and bushes to explore. The area is definitely not fully fenced so be aware of that if your dog is a wanderer! Meredith S.

55Nice spot if you’re looking for a little extra room compared to the ones listed in seattle. I wanted some room for my dogs to run that was not too far from where I live (downtown Seattle) and this was a great option! Ally F.

55The property is beautiful and well maintained. There is lots of room for fetch and lots of room to explore and roll in the grass. A great spot for dogs with good recall - which Riley was lacking his day. The partial fencing is mostly natural (ie bushes). Next time we visit, we’ll bring a long leash as Riley’s recall isn’t always the best. This is a wonderful space with room that’s close to the city. Erika S.

55Spectacular property. Owner is so incredibly warm and welcoming. The yard is absolutely gorgeous with so many different places to sniff and run. Time went so fast. Plenty of room for fetch, sprinting, walking. Close to town but feels like you're in the country. Fence is "natural" fencing, so dog needs to have decent recall or there are some places they could get through the gaps in the shrubs or trees into the neighboring yard or down the driveway to the private road. What a beautiful place! We will be back!Meg M.

55This property is absolutely stunning! Huge yards and plenty of things to sniff and explore. It’s partially fenced and surrounded by trees and tall shrubs. It’s down a private lane and we never saw any dogs or humans. It was easy to get to and the instructions for entry were very clear. Will definitely be back!Denise R.

FAQ About Bellevue Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Bellevue area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 396 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 558 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
