This is a great spot! Secure fencing all round (Maggie-Ann inspected every inch looking for a way out), a good mix of terrain to really exert my dog, lots of long grass and bushes for her to sniff and explore, a good size for recall training. Happy dog, happy owner! Highly recommend!

I left a couple of brand new tennis balls there for other doggo’s to enjoy on Monday (as the existing ones were looking a bit over-loved… another great sign that this spot is magic ❤️ Thank you Kent & Family for providing this wonderful (stress-free) place for my hyper fur-kids to run free from harnesses and traffic.

For our first experience it was a great area for our 18 month old lab retriever to burn some energy as all enclosed. Water is available, a bench to sit on, ball thrower and ball but we took all of our own toys to entertain. The only issue we would raise is the grass was so long our pup had a couple of grass seeds that had to be removed from his paws.

What an amazing idea / spot / resource for doggo parents!! We have 2 Husky’s that we can never let off-lead anywhere due to their speed, stamina and desire to run til they drop!. 55Our boxer Zac had an amazing time running around of lead. He can be reactive on lead towards other dogs, so having a place where he can be off lead safely is perfect. We would highly recommend The Dog Farm. I would suggest taking a sun umbrella is summer for shade :)Jen C.

Frequently asked questions about Eskdale dog park
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
