Top public and private small dog parks in Green Valley, Ontario

Just under an Acre Waterfront Dog Park & Swim Spot In South Stormont

Enjoy a private waterfront space with a large yard for your dog to run, play, and explore! The property is unfenced, so it’s best for dogs with good recall or those using a long lead. You’ll also have access to the water and plenty of extras, including a paddle board, human life jackets, a dock, a floating water mat connected to the dock, outdoor chairs, and a fire pit. A great spot to let your dog play while you relax and enjoy the water!

Willow Run

Welcome to Willow Run 🌿🐾 We’re Nate and Rita, and we love our girl, Shadow — but she’s reactive, and after some difficult experiences at public dog parks, finding safe places where she could simply run and enjoy being a dog wasn’t always easy. That’s one of the reasons we were so thankful to discover Sniffspot. Being able to rent private spaces gave Shadow the freedom to explore, play, and run without the stress of unfamiliar dogs suddenly entering her space. Still, we always had one big goal: to give her that same freedom at home. So when we moved out of the city, a proper fence was near the top of our list. We built a 7-foot solid wood privacy fence around our backyard, reaching right down to the ground and intentionally designed without gaps or openings. Seeing Shadow — along with our other two dogs — running, sniffing, wrestling, and playing freely back there has been an absolute joy. There’s a particular kind of peace of mind that comes from opening the door and knowing your dogs have a secure place where they can just… be dogs. And that got us thinking. We knew firsthand how difficult it could be to find a Sniffspot that felt truly private, securely fenced, and large enough for a dog to actually stretch their legs. So we decided to divide our yard and open part of it to others who might be looking for exactly what we once needed. Welcome to Willow Run. With over 100 feet of length and just under 5,000 square feet of private space, there’s plenty of room for your dog to run, sniff, explore, play, or simply enjoy some quiet time outside. The yard is surrounded by a 7-foot solid wood privacy fence, giving you and your dog a peaceful little pocket surrounded by nature while remaining safely enclosed. Our own three dogs comfortably enjoy the space together, making Willow Run a great option for multi-dog households, trainers looking for a private place to work with reactive or easily distracted dogs, and pack walkers looking for a secure space to safely exercise and work with multiple dogs. At Willow Run You’ll find: * One complimentary poop bag waiting right by the entrance * Poop-bag stations in all four corners of the yard, plus one midway along each side * A garbage bin conveniently located beside the entrance * Plenty of open space for running and exploring * Privacy from the surrounding area * A secure, fully fenced environment We’re also continuing to build Willow Run into an even better little retreat. Coming soon: * Picnic table / seating area * Water station * Nature-inspired agility and enrichment features We’re new Sniffspot hosts, and we genuinely want Willow Run to become a place that dogs and their people look forward to visiting. If there’s something you’d love to see added, or you have an idea that would make the experience even better, please feel free to send us a message. We’d love to hear it. This space began with one reactive dog who simply needed somewhere safe to run. Now we’re happy to share it with yours. 🐾🌿 — Nate, Rita & Shadow

You can drive right up to the dog park and park directly in front, making it super convenient for you and your pup. Once inside the fenced area, your dog can safely enjoy some off-leash freedom while you relax and take in the peaceful farm setting. Dogs are welcome on the trails and around the lake too, but must remain on leash outside of the fenced dog park. The farm is also home to other animals and may have people around, but the dog park itself is tucked away and secluded. You may occasionally see people, dogs, or farm animals passing by, adding to the unique farm experience without being right in the park with you. Please note that the fencing is see-through rather than privacy fencing, so your dog may be able to see activity outside the park.
