Hideaway Trails Retreat

Hideaway Trails Retreat is 5 acre half of a fully fenced 10 acre area. There is no fence with the neighboring parcel which is separated by beautiful Florida wild. There is a parking area near the hosts house. Beyond that is trails and forest for our furry friends to play and explore! For now the retreat does occasionally get visited by a friendly free roaming neighbor dog. So if you want a truly private area without interruption, we cannot guarantee that experience until we are able to complete a future fence dividing the neighboring 5 acre parcel.

Sandy Bottom River Retreat

At Sandy Bottom River Retreat you will find 8 acres of beautiful Florida woodlands, wetlands, and the river all in one place for you and your pup(s) to play and explore! There are tons of different sensory elements for you and your pup(s) to find throughout Sandy Bottom! Including but not limited to: 🌼 Wildflowers 🐓 Chicken Coop 🌲 Tree Swings 🦌 Wildlife 🐾 Trails 🐟 Fish 👃 Scents 🦋 Butterfriends 🔥 Firepits Our property is nestled on the river and is typically crystal clear, shallow and sandy bottomed; During the rainy season (July-Oct), the river becomes deep and dark colored, this can happen other times of the year as well when there is heavy rain for several days. It is very uncommon to see Alligators in the river where we are at but not impossible, and if you're lucky, on a rare occasion you might catch sight of river otter! James's 40 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Myakka City

40 acres of mostly open land with 2 ponds to swim in. I have 2 big dogs that swim and drink pond water daily, but if your more comfortable with a doggie pool I can provide one for an additional charge. Guests are responsible for supervising their dogs at all times. The host is not responsible for injuries, escapes, or incidents involving dogs while using the property, also this is a large property and all dogs must have reliable recall and host is not responsible for dogs that leave the property for any reason. Only dogs listed in the reservation are allowed on the property. Additional dogs must be added in the booking before arrival.
