They can splish, splash and meet the frogs in one of the 2 ponds located trailside. We believe every dog deserves their time to run and frolic without the restriction of a leash. We are blessed to be able to provide that opportunity to you and your dog to bond without the stress of running into other pooches and people. *Please drive slowly past the house on your drive into our Sniffspot. *Please don’t allow your dog(s) to run towards the back area of the house from the parking lot. As long and they obey to you calls. 50 acres of mostly bush with trails , a 3 acre field with old apples trees. Beautiful beach down the road. I'm a Registered Kennel with 4 Golden Retrievers on site. In their own fenced in area. Trails on my property are being cleared and mowed. There is also a lot more trails surrounding my property that is available for dog walks in nature. I'm 60, total animal lover and have had dogs all my life. There is a water tap outside and a bowl if needed. Water is from a spring fed well, no Chlorine.

Sniffspot is an amazing option for dogs who are reactive or have behavioural issues. I am definitely speaking from experience with my own dogs. Nothing wrong with having a safe space for your dog to just be a dog. Worry-free playtime. I spend every waking moment I can with the Loves of my life. Needless to say, I have a very limited social existence. I became involved with Sniffspot because dog owners like myself could get together and experience a social gathering, in a relaxed environment and still have your best friend(s) right by your side. Forest trails, grass trails, and enclosed back yard. Lots of wildlife in the area including deer, raccoons, groundhogs, porcupine, skunk etc. so dogs must be on leashes while in the open areas.

Gently sloping yard toward the lake, which has a nice gradual slope into the water. A dock in the summer. Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails. Please access the trails from Concession 6, not our driveway at the front on Concession 5/Durham regional road 15. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. We are currently working on a sign for the Concession 6 entrance for better access. Tip for finding the place: There is an unused culvert laying across the entrance of the trails at the back of the property. Please park on the road. Enjoy your visit!

This space is easily accessible from the road and has two large solar panels so you can't miss it! There are ponds available as well, just over the small hill of the field but usage of this pond will need to be discussed before hand. We ask that your dogs have a decent recall as we have other animals on the property. And please, pick up after your dog there is a garbage can on site!
