55Great space for dogs and humans! Especially when it’s wet outside. Love the option of going in through the back for my reactive dogs and being able to use all the different toys and equipment, from balls to snuffle mats to agility equipment. For humans, the bathroom was a huge plus and being close to places to grab lunch completed our trip to Sac. Already booked our next visit! Just wish we lived closer! cindy w.

55We loved how interactive and truly dog-oriented that place is. It's low key, there's plenty of toys and agility equipment and the staff is lovely. Our favorite thing was the robotic treat dispenser, which gives out treats at random. 😂
After our visit, Oliver was so tired that he didn't even bark on our way home. 😂 As Arnold liked to say, "I'LL BE BACK":)Zuza H.

55I love this spot! It’s a great alternative when it’s either too cold/hot outside for the dogs. I’ve taken my 2 dogs (a mini goldendoodle and lab) twice and plan on coming more often. Terra and the other employees in the store are so nice. They make sure you and your pups are enjoying yourselves. Last time I came, her trainer was running a little over so the larger room was occupied. However, she allowed us to stay a little over our time once the room was free which was very considerate.
Would highly recommend this spot!Alessandra F.

55Have visited twice with canine baby, and hope to have more coming up!
Our doggo is a spirited, opinionated terrier in the Pit category. She is young and her manners are rough-around-the-edges.
Firstly, I love the fact that to enter the play area we walk through the shop area. This is a perfect opportunity to work on impulse control and regulation, and for the play to be a reward for working hard to get there!
The play area has marvelously springy and high-quality rubber surface. Tons of interesting toys and equipment to provide a rotating offering of enrichment activities to exercise body and mind.
The shop has unusual and interesting supplies. Tara, the proprietor, is easy to work with and is very accommodating in sharing the space and her training experience.
A total joy and privilege to have this spot in Sacramento! Highly Recommend!Coco C.

55Just had our first visit! We booked for 4 dogs for 1.5 hours to celebrate my dog’s 12th birthday with her lil circle of friends. They all had so much fun exploring, sniffing, and getting treats. They aren’t huge toy dogs but there was still a lot to do. An hour probably would’ve been plenty of time.
Terra was so lovely and helpful and the space was fully clean and ready for us on arrival. I will definitely be back to Paws N Play to shop and hopefully to bring foster dogs to train and explore ❤️Koreena W.

55The facility is really cool...lots of stuff for my dog to play with. This was her first time here so she was really distracted by all the different smells so we couldn't really do much with her this time but let her walk around and check things out. Terra was awesome and made her a homemade snack, which she eventually ate some of it. I think she was just a bit overwhelmed this time but I fully intend to take her back.Christine C.

55Awesome Sniffspot! In addition to the air conditions, there are tons of enrichment activities for the dogs. I love going to train and then letting the dogs play when we are done. And they love picking out fun chews. Jenina S.

55Today was our first visit and we'll be back. Sable really enjoyed playtime, running thru the tunnels and the snuffle mat. I really appreciated the cushioned floor for her janky joints. She's an 11-year-old reactive GSD so having a safe place for her to explore and do dog stuff is huge for us. Mary D.

Frequently asked questions about Southeastern Sacramento indoor dog parks
What do private indoor dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento offer that public parks don't?
Private indoor dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento can't guarantee any of this. With 5 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.
Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento?
Yes! Most of Southeastern Sacramento's 5 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Southeastern Sacramento listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.
When can puppies start visiting indoor dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento?
Puppies can visit Southeastern Sacramento indoor dog parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Southeastern Sacramento trainers specifically use indoor dog parks for puppy development.
How do I find private indoor dog parks near me in Southeastern Sacramento?
Browse Southeastern Sacramento's 5 indoor dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Southeastern Sacramento listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Indoor Hay Hunt Play Park is particularly popular among Southeastern Sacramento dog owners.
Can I rent indoor dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento by the hour?
Yes! All 5 indoor dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Southeastern Sacramento dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.
What's the difference between Sniffspot indoor dog parks and public dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 5 Southeastern Sacramento indoor dog parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Are there indoor indoor dog parks in Southeastern Sacramento?
Yes! Southeastern Sacramento has climate-controlled indoor indoor dog parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Southeastern Sacramento locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Southeastern Sacramento weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.
How do Southeastern Sacramento indoor dog parks help with dog training?
Southeastern Sacramento trainers love indoor dog parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice climate-controlled obedience work, rainy day training continuity, or winter recall practice, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather.
