16 acres for your pups to explore- in Canonsburg!

Partially Fenced
15 acres

We have almost 16 acres, just 1 mile from Canonsburg & McMurray. We have 3 separate pastures fenced in. One is where we plant our gardens, one is large & fenced in (but not escape proof), and one is about 1/2 acre. This smaller one is secure (unless your dog is very small or will dig under a fence) If you want your dog to be off leash we will ask you to use the 1/2 acre back pasture which has cattle fencing (you will access using a secure gate). If you keep your dog on the leash you’re welcome to walk him or her anywhere in our other pastures or in our woods. Before you let your dog off the leash, please inspect my fencing to be sure your dog will not be able to get out. Two chairs and a table are provided for comfort. A first aid kit, poop bags and a trash can are available. Water bowls (filled with clean water) and dog toys/balls will be available and will be sanitized after every use. Please text me at (724) 317-9844 after booking to be sure I know you are coming!

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Flushing compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Flushing see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Flushing hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Flushing dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Flushing dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Flushing private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Flushing?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Flushing that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Flushing dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Flushing dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Flushing dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Flushing where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Flushing dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Flushing dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Flushing hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Flushing dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Flushing dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Flushing dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Flushing special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
