We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner. People and dogs may be walking on the path outside the fence. We have no control over this. This is a farm, not a park! There are no walking paths, and depending on the time of year, pasture grasses may be very high (especially in spring.) Hay mowing doesn’t usually start until late May. I recommend wearing boots and bringing a towel to wipe your dog’s feet.

There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs. Please keep dogs leashed until you are in the designated enclosed area. There is a 30 minute gap between bookings so you dont run into a dog leaving the field. 10+ Acres of Wooded Trails on Private Dog Park In Mt. Vernon

Our property requires a walk up a hill to access the Sniffspot once you have parked. Once you reach the top you have just over 10 acres to explore on old forest roads and trails. We have very thick brush on the south, west and north sides of the property and the east side is fenced in. We live about 5 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on. There is a lot of wildlife around the area and that lives and sleeps in our property to lots to sniff but be aware for off leash recall if a bunny or deer passes by.

Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn. When possible, please fill any dug-up spots so as to keep people and pups from tripping or getting hurt!
