While there are children in the home, they will not be in the yard when you are. However, please give me a heads up if your dog isn't a fan of children and I'll be extra sure to keep them inside. Our expansive outdoor run is often unused and available for periods during the day while our few guests are enjoying activities in our indoor play area. This prompted us to offer by the hour day use of our amenities to the public. We have a private secluded manicured 1 acre lawn, with drainage so no puddles. Small garden hut in the yard is open and available for use while watching your dogs play. 1/4 acre of the lawn is covered with certified playground wood chips and is fully and securely fenced with a 6’ fence all around. The outdoor run area is secure and your dog can be left unsupervised if you wish. The rest of the yard is fenced but not secure so supervised play is required. The yard is located on an organic blueberry farm so you can rest assured there is no chance of pesticides used on the property or around it. Warm water wash available free. Free organic blueberry picking in summer months during your stay included. high end boarding available on site. We love, accept and respect all!

Bathroom available on site is now located in an outhouse close to where you park your car. Please let us know if it needs cleaning it is checked throughout the day. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There is a barn hose if you need water text or call glenn 2508962860. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs. Please keep dogs leashed until you are in the designated enclosed area. There is a 30 minute gap between bookings so you dont run into a dog leaving the field. Please contact me ASAP if your dog has ALLERGIES!** Based in South Langley, BC, this indoor area is designed from the dog’s perspective and features sensory plants such as lavender, rosemary, basil, and mint, flowers, wheat grass and baby trees, as well as recycled objects with a scent history, including children’s toys, horse blankets, shoes, hats, and gloves. Scented cloths, feathers, and other items with various animal scents are also available. Dogs see a range of blues and yellows, so items have been chosen to reflect this, offering a visual experience as well as an olfactory workout. Various textiles are used to enhance the sense of touch in indoor spaces, including non-slip mats made of nylon, foam, and fur, as well as hanging items to brush against, such as scarves and beads. As your dog moves around and explores, they will discover natural treats hidden in boxes, puzzles, snuffle mats and even ball pits. The Praise Dog Enrichment Room gives your dog the opportunity to simply be a dog, making their own choices and exploring at their own pace. For this reason, a maximum of 2 dogs (from the same household) may visit at a time, as long as there is no resource guarding behaviour. As all dogs are unique, each experience is planned on an individual basis, taking into account your dog’s preferences, age and ability, character and behaviour, and the layout is adapted accordingly. It is also an opportunity to relax and simply observe your dog’s natural behaviour. We are still open, and visits will now take place in our **new private play area**, which includes a fenced field, river access, a bit of forest, and multiple spots to relax and lounge. Parking remains the same. I’ve also added a simple map showing the current play area, walking path, and the temporarily closed main field. Because this is a different setup than what was originally offered, pricing has been adjusted accordingly. Important - All prices are in USD and charges to the guest are in USD Our backyard is a mini overgrown Garry Oak forest in the city. With more than 25 trees including 2 Douglas Firs, a snowberry-blackberry thicket, boulders, and some fallen logs, it is like a mini oasis. Our trees are home to owls, squirrels, and Coopers Hawks in the summer months. We are actively working to remove invasive plants like English Ivy and blackberries from the wooded lot so please exercise caution as you move around the more overgrown areas. Good shoes are must. If you’d like more of a standard yard experience, the mulched upper garden bed area is flat and great for playing fetch. Plenty of good sticks, bones and dog toys. The rest of the yard has rocky, varied terrain and sloped in spots. Some rocks can be loose, so please exercise caution. Most of the back lot is a thicket of blackberry and snowberry bramble that we are slowly working to restore to a native plant meadow and maintain the paths. Best suited for adventurous folks, dogs that are not prey driven or escape artists.
