My only complaint is that I had 1 dog for 30 min. was charged for 2 dogs for 1 hr. Tryed to fix the problem online but was unable to do so. Dawn N.

55My pup, Dokki, and I visited the "Tree lined large backyard close to town" last week. We were greeted immediately on arrival by our delightful host, Robin. Dokki seemed to take to her right away, which is not common...he generally takes a while to approach a new person. Dokki ran and played fetch to his his heart's content.
While we have a large backyard, it is terraced and difficult to fence, so Dokki's running/romping space at home is fairly restricted. Not so, here. He even played hide and seek with me. I have rarely let him off leash and didn't know how he would react to commands in an open space...he did really well. He kept me in his purview all the time, came when called and had a thoroughly good sniff all around the property.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
