Easy parking is available right at the entrance for convenient access. Willowbank Farm “Millie's Memorial Play and Chillaxin Spot”.
History of our Sniffspot: “Millie “ was an English cream Golden Retriever from the famous Kyon Kennels in Orangeville Ontario . She was the sweetest family dog ever, and was even an extra on the original “Pupstar “ . Millie was also an adventurer and an escape artist extraordinaire ! .In her Diva way she demanded that we fence off a few of the bigger areas on our farm so she could safely roam off leash and have friends over . Millie enjoyed her ‘personal park’ for much of her 14 years here, and asked if we could continue sharing it with other doggie friends and their people once she passes. Millie passed peacefully at the age of 14 on Aug 12 2026. Description: “Millie’s spot” is Located just off the Galloping Goose Trail in a scenic hillside area in Saseenos Sooke. We are just up from Saseenos vet and the corner property on Gladys and Ludlow Rd. We are conveniently located just steps from the Galloping Goose Ludlow road trail exit if you want to hike before or after your visit . The entrance to the farm and Millie’s spot is on Ludlow road on the left just past the Gladys turn off across from Arleigh Place . We are on approx 2 acres of tiered landscaped property that is accessible with landscape stairs with railings to and from the designated Sniffspot areas . (Caution and good mobility is required on the hilly bits. ) The off leash Sniffspot area is approx .75 of an acre and comprised of a fully fenced 50x150 foot horse riding ring with firm style sand base, and another fully fenced horse paddock and picnic sitting area. Fencing is mainly with 4-5 foot post and rail horse fencing with 3-4 foot of mesh between. Good for dogs that aren’t big climbers or jumpers, and Millie tested and approved . Also works for our sneaky Frenchie . There are flat and hilly areas for dogs to run and explore . A great work out for both humans and dogs ! Sit up in the picnic area and toss the ball or frisbee down into the riding ring for an extra energy burning hill fetch run! Raining ? Or Hot weather ? Several Tree canopies of willows and cedars will keep you cool in summer and dry during a gentle rain . We also have a small overhang area in the riding ring . Most of the footing is gravel or pea gravel or sand so mud is pretty minimal . Agility ? The riding ring is a perfect venue if you want to do an agility training course! , You are welcome to bring your own equipment with the possibility to store it here if you book a series of visits in advance :) What to bring, the basics : Please Bring your own toys, poop bags and water, plus good walking shoes for the hill to and from the play areas. Take your waste bags with you when you leave please. Sorry no washroom available, but Daniel’s market is just down the road . First Visit ? Will need to briefly show you the parking area and off leash spots . Please call or text on or before booking day for specifics. 2506619027 Carol If you’re in the area, feel free to text and if I’m free , I can show you around so you can check it out first to see if it’s a fit.

This was a horse pasture, but horse no more. There are a few elevation changes and plenty of river rocks that you are welcome to! Grass is mowed. Ignore the electric fence (it is off). 2/3rd of an acre with one shade tree, and a couple of chairs. Bring your own: doggie toys and water just in case (we do have a bowl for your dog). At about 2pm two guys with 3 dogs wander by on their daily walk, keep an eye out for leashlessness.

Let your dog run on Ebeys Reserve
29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner. People and dogs may be walking on the path outside the fence. We have no control over this. This is a farm, not a park! There are no walking paths, and depending on the time of year, pasture grasses may be very high (especially in spring.) Hay mowing doesn’t usually start until late May. I recommend wearing boots and bringing a towel to wipe your dog’s feet.

Seth's 30 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Chimacum
Glendale Farm Dog Park Description Welcome to Glendale Farm, a peaceful 180-acre working farm in the heart of the Chimacum Valley where dogs and their people can slow down, explore, and reconnect with nature. Our Sniffspot offers a unique off-leash experience surrounded by open pasture, mature forests, seasonal wetlands, orchards, and quiet farm roads. Depending on the season, you’ll enjoy expansive grassy areas, shaded woodland trails, and wide-open views of one of Washington’s most beautiful agricultural valleys. Your visit is designed to feel like a private countryside adventure. Dogs can sniff along hedgerows, explore winding trails, splash in seasonal puddles after the rains, and enjoy plenty of room to run while you relax beneath towering trees or take in the surrounding farmland. Wildlife sightings are common and may include deer, eagles, hawks, owls, frogs, and countless songbirds. Because Glendale Farm is an active agricultural property, you may occasionally see tractors, farm staff, livestock in separate fenced pastures, or other farm activity at a distance. Our Sniffspot area is selected to maximize privacy while respecting our farming operations. The property changes dramatically with the seasons. Spring brings wildflowers and lush green fields. Summer offers dry walking paths and warm evenings. Autumn is filled with colorful foliage and migrating birds, while winter showcases dramatic skies and peaceful landscapes. Please keep all gates exactly as you found them and remain within designated Sniffspot areas unless otherwise instructed. We encourage you to take your time, breathe deeply, and let your dog experience the sights, scents, and sounds of a working regenerative farm. ⸻ Cleanliness We work hard to provide a natural and enjoyable experience. As an active farm, the grounds are maintained regularly, though visitors should expect natural conditions including grasses, mud during wet weather, leaves, sticks, and uneven terrain. Please help us keep the farm beautiful by packing out any trash and disposing of dog waste in the provided receptacles. ⸻ Hazards HOST NOTE Glendale Farm is a working agricultural property and natural landscape. By visiting, you acknowledge that outdoor recreation carries inherent risks. Please use caution around: * Uneven ground, mole hills, roots, rocks, holes, mud, tall grass, and slippery surfaces. * Seasonal standing water and drainage ditches. * Fallen branches, blackberry vines, nettles, thistles, and native vegetation. * Wildlife including deer, raccoons, coyotes, birds of prey, snakes, insects, bees, wasps, and ticks. * Agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, fencing, irrigation lines, and other farm infrastructure. * Livestock located in fenced areas. Dogs must never approach, chase, or disturb farm animals. * Weather conditions that may change rapidly, including rain, wind, heat, or icy conditions. Dogs should not consume unknown plants, mushrooms, berries, or standing water. While we make every effort to provide a safe environment, visitors are responsible for supervising their dogs at all times. Please ensure gates remain closed behind you and respect any areas marked as private or closed for habitat restoration or farm operations. Guests assume all responsibility for themselves, their animals, and their belongings while visiting Glendale Farm and agree not to hold Glendale Farm or its owners liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, or incidents arising from use of the property. We hope you and your dog leave a little happier, a little muddier, and already planning your next visit to Glendale Farm. 🐾🌿
