Finger Lakes Dog Park

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

Finger Lakes Dog Park is a privately reservable, fully-fenced, half acre canine recreation area. We enthusiastically welcome ALL dogs, but the private nature of the park is especially beneficial for reactive or shy dogs, traveling dogs, handicapped dogs, puppies, or seniors. We are the first and only dog park in Schuyler County, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. The area is known for its rolling farmland, many vineyards, beautiful lakes, and plentiful waterfalls and gorges. Numerous state parks offer many camping opportunities. And the county is also home to the only national forest in the state. So whether you are a local resident-or a visitor to our little piece of heaven-be sure to bring your special friend(s) for an enjoyable outing in the country. We are open every day (including all holidays) from 8am to 8pm. The park is not lighted (yet) so reserve your spot accordingly during the winter. Happy romping!

Fun in Freeville - 5.5 Acre Trail

Unfenced
5.5 acres

Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Trail Edition! A short trail for your dog that likes to explore the woods. There is a fire pit about 100 yards in with seating and some natural doggy obstacles for those interested in agility and parkour exercises. We currently have one open trail that runs the length of our 5.5 acre property and back, and we hope to add more this spring. Our favorite times to walk this trail are in the fall and winter. It can get pretty wet during certain times of the year. I would definitely wear tall waterproof footwear in the spring and summer and use bug spray. There's a large fire pit with benches and a picnic table that you're welcome to use. We are doing our best to maintain and further develop the trail but please be aware that there is uneven ground throughout and watch your step. As you walk through, you will encounter different types of forest and trees. It's always fun to bring binoculars if you're into birding. You might get lucky and see our resident barred owls! Our property also includes a fully fenced yard you are welcome to use as well. See our other spot for more details and information: https://www.sniffspot.com/to/3yhyy

Frequently asked questions about Lindley dog agility parks

What amenities do Lindley dog agility parks typically include?

Lindley dog agility parks feature amenities designed for agility training and mental stimulation: agility equipment and parkour obstacles, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Lindley hosts customize their spaces. Browse 6 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog agility parks in Lindley with water access?

Many Lindley dog agility parks include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Lindley days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Lindley hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog agility parks in Lindley compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Lindley see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog agility parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Lindley hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Lindley dog agility parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Lindley dog agility parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Lindley private dog agility parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog agility parks in Lindley?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Lindley that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Lindley dog agility parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Lindley dog agility parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Lindley dog agility parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Lindley where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Lindley dog agility parks for special events?

Many Lindley dog agility parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Lindley hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Lindley dog agility park listings for event policies.

How do Lindley dog agility parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Lindley dog agility parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Lindley special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
