The owner was very sweet and helpful! We had trouble knowing which was the pasture at first but it’s the first one on the long drive, with ample parking on the other side of the drive. Beautiful and huge flat/gently-sloping pasture with clean water available. We brought our own bowl and toys. Seating available for humans which was nice! Our Foxhound mix (66 lbs) could have gotten out of the slats in the fence but she is not an escape artist. There were some adorable Pygmy goats that wandered into the pasture next to ours, but Noel (our dog) was only mildly curious and she didn’t bark at them. A very fun day for a sniff and throwing the ball!

Some people were talking about how the fence is not secure enough to keep their dog in but my dog is short and could have easily escaped and we had no issues. As long as your dog listens to commands, you should be able to tell your dog no when they start sniffing the bottom of the fence and they should stop with no problems. But they even have a long leash if your dog is not well trained and does escape. The area was beautiful and large enough for running. Water and dog toys were supplied. Grass was long in some area but it was overall a great place. Will be going again.

My fault for not reading that it wasn't secure for dogs that escape. We did take advantage of the long leash and were able to secure both of our girls. Really big & clean. Unfortunately I think we won't be going back because our girls would escape. If there was at least chicken wire added that would definitely be amazing & we would probably book at least once a month. Its a great location to provide an enrichment day. They definitely came home tired and well exercised. We did see there was some type of mesh in the goat field, so it is possible. Thank you for your location.

This is my first time using sniffspot and I was really hoping this location would be worth the 30+ minute drive for us. WAS IT EVER! A beautiful secluded space. Easy to get to. Our whippet puppy had an absolute blast. As whippets do he needs space to run and it's so hard to find large safe open spaces in this area. I think I had more fun than he did, watching him be able to reach top speeds running end to end of the space! Of course he did find a few piles of deer poo, (I discarded it so the next doggo won't get any.) He also honed in on a group of deer in the woods as soon as we got there but they scurried away into the woods and the fence was a solid barrier. I will say the lowest point of one of the fences , he could definitely get under. If that's something you're worried about they have a HUGE long line with a steak in the middle of the space for your dog to roam without worry! Half way through our hour the owner came up the driveway and greeted us with a friendly wave. We would've been very happy if he stopped and said hello, but I also really appreciated the privacy.
I came home with a tired, happy, muddy puppy (it rained in the morning and he found every single puddle to splash in!)
As long as the owners don't mind we are absolutely going to become regulars! :)

This spot was amazing!! My dogs were able to run around to their hearts content without us worrying about any other people or dogs. One of my dogs is a bit of a flight risk so the 120’ tie out was amazing!!! I don’t even think she ever hit the end of it - she was able to run free while still giving us peace of mind knowing she was safe. When we got there you could hear some other dogs barking, but they were no where in view and it didn’t bother my dogs at all (even though one is very reactive!)

This spot was great! It is somewhat secluded making it peaceful and beautiful. The yard was well maintained. There are gaps in the fencing due to its design so if your pup is prone to running away then they should be hooked to the very long lead that is provided. There were toys, a well for drinking water for the dogs, a picnic table and a patio table with chairs and an umbrella. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

This has become our favorite spot! This was our third visit and we have a fourth scheduled! I have no complaints and my dog has a great time every time. One thing I have noticed, is there is one spot in the area that is a bit muddy. My dog enjoys walking through it and it turns half his legs black lol it’s not a problem, but I’ve started bringing a towel with me when we go so if you’re dog is a mud pig be prepared.
I just became a members of this spot and I can’t wait for every visit, it’s just as much enrichment for my dog as it is for me.

I had so much fun with my dog, Steve! He’s a fearful/reactive dog so it’s huge for us to have a space that is quiet and free from people and dogs! There are some goats far in the distance and we heard a neighbor dog barking but didn’t see him. Neither of these things bothered my dog. He’s about 40lbs and there were a handful of spots that my dog could easily get through the fence but we came prepared with a 20 ft long line and they had an even longer tie out available. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful spot. Quiet and the seating area was an added bonus. Will certainly be back. Seeing some goats was an added bonus. Our pup enjoyed all the smells! One note is that the fencing was tall enough for our 26lb dog Greta to easily scoot under the fence with her harness on. She’s not great with recall
But was on her best behavior since it was a new area.

FAQ about our Millstone dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Millstone area are 5 stars.
