55My two Springer Spaniels LOVED this place! Really beautiful scenery. As others have said, the fencing is not entirely secure, but if your pups are good with recall it shouldn’t be a problem. Yes, there are horse apples, but it’s a horse pasture so to be expected. Lots of natural rock formations, short and tall grass, wood piles, and trees all make for great sniffing! My boys were asleep before I pulled out of the driveway. Michelle C.

55My dogs loved roaming around the property - I feel like we ALL got a good workout in haha
All of the rocks and different terrain was awesome to explore! My dogs found the water trough very easily (it is not stagnant water so don't worry! You can see the water run off pipe to the left in my pics) so it was great to have fresh water that I didn’t have to carry. Once you are walking around you will see the wire fencing strands that go all the way starting by the driveway and there is a little Sniffspot sign for parking right down from the house. This was our first Sniffspot visit so once I got the lay of the land we were golden! Also, Tim was super accommodating and communicative!
As mentioned in the owner's info, there are neighboring dogs and one came to visit. My partner was standing further away from us while we up by the trough so she approached him, but once my dogs ran up to her she kept her distance. She was very sweet and I just recalled my own dogs away to avoid anything and she eventually left the property once no one was interacting with her.
Also, at first I messed up & drove past the parking sign and parked right by his house and a sweet lil kitty came over to say hi (the info does mention cats! so that was on me because I forgot.)
I definitely recommend Tim's place if your dog has great recall and for getting in some nice exploring of different types of terrain all on one piece of land!Cait C.

55The property was very big with plenty of space to explore. There was a clear fence around the premises, although, it makes good sense for the owner to list it as unfenced, as the fencing is old and wouldn't stop a dog. The owner is very friendly and provides a map of the premises for navigation. He also emphasizes to feel free to ask questions. The directions provided made finding the property easy. The owner also used two different sniffspot signs, which was great as I never had to worry I was on the wrong property at any point. I don't think I actually ended up exploring the whole 12 acres. There's a spot where the fence breaks that looks like you could go past? But I wasn't sure, and to be honest, the map provided isn't very high resolution, so I couldn't positively match it to the structures on the property, so I iust chose to stay within the fence line. Other than that, it is worth noting that on one side of the property there is a dog that did come up near the fence. He did not strike me as agressive, just defensive. He stopped short of the fence in a defensive posture and barked to signal us not to proceed to his side of that fence. He was responsive to the space we gave him, and seemed to be a pretty well trained dog. I only mention this for those considering allowing their dog off leash; I wouldn't do so unless they have an extremely reliable recall. Rylan R.

FAQ about our Deer Creek dog parks
Are there dog parks in Deer Creek for reactive dogs?
Yes! Deer Creek has 2 private dog parks specifically designed for reactive, anxious, or dog-selective pets. Unlike public dog parks where unexpected encounters can trigger your reactive dog, Sniffspot offers completely private bookings. That means only you and your dogs will be there. We enforce 30-minute buffers between visits so you won't run into other park users when arriving or leaving. This makes Deer Creek Sniffspots perfect for reactive dogs who need safe off-leash exercise.
How many private dog parks are in Deer Creek?
Deer Creek has 2 private Sniffspot locations ranging from cozy backyard spaces to expansive properties spanning 12+ acres. You'll find dog water parks, small dog parks, and fully fenced dog parks options, each offering complete privacy during your reserved time. Browse listings to compare sizes, amenities, fencing, and reviews from other Deer Creek dog owners.
Are Deer Creek dog parks friendly for all dog types?
Absolutely! Deer Creek Sniffspot locations work for every type of dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer away from large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space to run, and yes, reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. Because bookings are completely private, you can customize the experience to your dog's specific needs—whether that's careful puppy introductions or stress-free exercise for nervous dogs.
Will there be other dogs at Deer Creek dog parks?
No, that's what makes Sniffspot different from public dog parks! We only allow one booking at a time, and host dogs must be kept away during your visit. When you book a Deer Creek dog park, you have the entire space to yourself (plus any dog-owning friends you invite). This privacy is crucial for reactive dogs, puppies in training, or any dog who needs space from other animals.
What makes Deer Creek dog parks safe for anxious dogs?
Deer Creek Sniffspot locations provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. There are no aggressive dogs, no inattentive owners, and no unexpected encounters that could traumatize anxious or fearful dogs. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars, with many highlighting how safe their reactive or anxious dogs felt.
Can puppies use Deer Creek dog parks?
Absolutely! Deer Creek dog parks are ideal for puppy socialization because they provide controlled, distraction-free environments. Puppies can practice recall, build confidence, and explore without the overwhelming chaos of public dog parks. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting any Deer Creek Sniffspot.
Are Deer Creek dog parks good for small dogs?
Yes! Many Deer Creek Sniffspot hosts mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're appropriately sized for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs risk being overwhelmed or injured by larger breeds, Deer Creek private bookings give your small dog the entire space to themselves. Look for secure fencing with minimal gaps and hosts who understand petite pup needs.
What are the requirements for Deer Creek dog parks?
All dogs must have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. Each Deer Creek host may have additional requirements listed on their booking page. Most welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit traditional public dog parks.
