Sophie's Pet Paradise

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

My Sniffspot is just south of I-94 and across from Lower Nemahbin Lake access. You will see a foster care sign at the end of the driveway. The address is 1635 North Sawyer Road. It is well-marked. We do have beehives (located near the barn), fenced ducks & chickens (not visible from the field), and barn cats that wander the area. One rooster free ranges but he and none of the other animals will approach you or your dogs. You may also see deer or wild turkeys. Because we want all of these animals, including your dogs to be safe, please keep dogs on leash when outside the field and be in control of them at all times. The private dog park has 3 agility jumps, 1 short tunnel, and miniature weave poles. Feel free to adjust any of the jumps to fit your dog(s)' jump height. You can also create your own agility course! The park provides a cot, three chairs, some toys, and 2 throwing sticks. The Toys are located on top of a purple bin and there are more toys inside of the bin you can take out! A hose/sprinkler is provided in the summer! More agility equipment will be added in the spring/summer. There is plenty of space to let your furry friend run free! Please note: I am a high school student and my parents are letting me maintain the Sniffspot to earn money. Therefore, I may not be able to respond to messages right away if I am in class, but I will try my best!

Frequently asked questions about Mt Pleasant dog fields

What do private dog fields in Mt Pleasant offer that public parks don't?

Private dog fields in Mt Pleasant offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for full-speed running and fetch, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Mt Pleasant can't guarantee any of this. With 76 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Mt Pleasant?

Yes! Most of Mt Pleasant's 76 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Mt Pleasant listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog fields in Mt Pleasant?

Puppies can visit Mt Pleasant dog fields as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore full-speed running and fetch without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Mt Pleasant trainers specifically use dog fields for puppy development.

How do I find private dog fields near me in Mt Pleasant?

Browse Mt Pleasant's 76 dog fields on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Mt Pleasant listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Sophie's Pet Paradise is particularly popular among Mt Pleasant dog owners.

Can I rent dog fields in Mt Pleasant by the hour?

Yes! All 76 dog fields in Mt Pleasant are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Mt Pleasant dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog fields and public dog parks in Mt Pleasant?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Mt Pleasant mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 76 Mt Pleasant dog fields give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys full-speed running and fetch and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog fields in Mt Pleasant?

Yes! Mt Pleasant has climate-controlled indoor dog fields perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Mt Pleasant locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Mt Pleasant weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Mt Pleasant dog fields help with dog training?

Mt Pleasant trainers love dog fields because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice long-distance recall across open space, running drills, or field sports like fetch and frisbee, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for full-speed running and fetch.
