Maddy and Gabby's place

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

Don't have your own yard? That is really ruff. You can come use ours. I am Maddy or Madison and I am a Golden Retriever under a year old my older sister Gabby or Gabriela is much smaller than I am she's a chihuahua. We would love playdates though I am a more shy when it comes to friends my size. If you would like to just come and enjoy our yard by yourself with your family that's ok too. It's still to cold but this summer the pool will be open and ready my mom and dad said it has stairs instead of a ladder and that I can go swimming with her if I like it. I think that I might since I love puddles. So if you like swimming you can do that to with your family. Mom and Dad say they are going to make me a dig area as well cuz I like digging up mom's garden. Anyway come over and have some fun. Oh also mom says our yard is big not sure if it's a quarter of an acre but it's big.

Frequently asked questions about Oakland dog water parks

What do private dog water parks in Oakland offer that public parks don't?

Private dog water parks in Oakland offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for swimming and water play, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Oakland can't guarantee any of this. With 10 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Oakland?

Yes! Most of Oakland's 10 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Oakland listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog water parks in Oakland?

Puppies can visit Oakland dog water parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore swimming and water play without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Oakland trainers specifically use dog water parks for puppy development.

How do I find private dog water parks near me in Oakland?

Browse Oakland's 10 dog water parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Oakland listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Maddy and Gabby's place is particularly popular among Oakland dog owners.

Can I rent dog water parks in Oakland by the hour?

Yes! All 10 dog water parks in Oakland are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Oakland dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog water parks and public dog parks in Oakland?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Oakland mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 10 Oakland dog water parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys swimming and water play and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog water parks in Oakland?

Yes! Oakland has climate-controlled indoor dog water parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Oakland locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Oakland weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Oakland dog water parks help with dog training?

Oakland trainers love dog water parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice water confidence building, dock diving practice, or swimming-based fitness training, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for swimming and water play.
