Fun in Freeville - 5.5 Acre Trail

Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Trail Edition! A short trail for your dog that likes to explore the woods. There is a fire pit about 100 yards in with seating and some natural doggy obstacles for those interested in agility and parkour exercises. We currently have one open trail that runs the length of our 5.5 acre property and back, and we hope to add more this spring. Our favorite times to walk this trail are in the fall and winter. It can get pretty wet during certain times of the year. I would definitely wear tall waterproof footwear in the spring and summer and use bug spray. There's a large fire pit with benches and a picnic table that you're welcome to use. We are doing our best to maintain and further develop the trail but please be aware that there is uneven ground throughout and watch your step. As you walk through, you will encounter different types of forest and trees. It's always fun to bring binoculars if you're into birding. You might get lucky and see our resident barred owls! Jen & Paul's 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Rochester

We currently have about 1/2 acre fully fixed in for your dog to run safely. We do have a patio area set up currently on the lawn that we will be making pavers. You are welcome to sit on that or use the deck. There's also a sensory garden for dogs that are welcome to. Use that. There's sand for digging, there's plants that are safe for them to nimble on, and you are welcome to bring your own treats and hide them through the garden for them to find. There is a tug of war rope hanging from one of the trees they're welcome to use. There's an agility teeter totter platform in the sensory garden they can use. We do have a spot where we're trying to get rid of broken up cabinets for trash so. Please stay away from that area. It's near the garage. You can enter through the side yard fenced gate that has the "Sign beware of dogs" on it. It does stick, you just have to push down on lever and pull to you. Please do not let your dogs go thru the side yard gardens.
