Jen's 100 Acre Private Dog Park and 2.5 miles of trails in Bath, Ontario.

Partially Fenced
100 acres

Daily 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. we offer a partially fenced 100 acre property where your dogs can run free. Updated January 18 2026: We keep the main trail plowed all winter, and side trails if the snow isn't too deep or heavy. Currently, we have 3 official (2.5 miles of) groomed trails (weather permitting), plus 2 groomed 1 acre field play areas. In warmer months, the main trail and playing fields are cut short if you wish to avoid longish grass. We have chairs available in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit and balls available, fresh well water, bowls, and a garbage can in the first field also. There is a pond at the bottom of the first field to the right. Be advised that in spring and summer there are geese and ducks that nest there; muskrats and/or otters year round - please prevent your dogs from harassing the wildlife. I don't recommend the pond for swimming for humans at all and only for dogs in May, but dogs swim in there all summer and fall; it's your choice. In winter, the pond poses a danger. Please don't allow people or dogs to go on to the ice. There will be a warning sign in winter. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and woods. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. You can often see deer, wild turkeys, vultures, and lots of other birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Part way back the main trail goes through a shallow marsh. In the spring the frogs singing is quite remarkable! Further along there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming when it is filled with water. This is marked with orange pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. Just past the culvert, there are 2 fields going East that are planted with winter wheat. We have trails cut around these that go along woods and takes about 15 minutes, ending back on the main trail. If you just travel along the main trail you will reach the big hill. There is a tree stand at the bottom of this hill that has a deer trail camera on the stair railing facing up the west side of the hill. Going East at the base of the hill is the entrance to The Shady Trail, a nice short trail going through the cedars. The entrance is marked with orange tape. This trail ends at a small field with a deer stand in it, a red arrow marks the way back to the main trail. In and back would take about 10 minutes. The main trail ends at the top of the big hill. Please stay out of the woods spring through fall due to ticks. You can use the woods once cooler weather comes, provided you can find your way out. We do have ATV trails with entrances along the big hill, marked by private property signage. These trails aren't always obvious to others and we don't want folks getting lost so please keep your bearings. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the side trails, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. During spring and summer, prepare for insects. Wear hats and repellent. ** The main trail can be icy in spots in winter so wear appropriate boots. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. We have a white garbage can for poop but please use biodegradable dog poop bags. *Please remove your dogs' poop wherever they go!* *No smoking on the property* ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD, $11 per hour for the first dog, subsequent dogs are $5.50/hour. On your way home, stop at MacKinnon's brewery just down the road for food and drinks. They are dog and family friendly; an all around great place to visit! Cheryll's 1 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Lakefield

Partially Fenced
1 acre

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Hi there! 🥰 Please note, we are working on fixing up the property since moving in & the ice storm that took down several trees in our yard. The dock is in need of repair at the moment so please take caution while standing on it ⚠️ The property goes until it hits water on all north sides of the property which includes in the spring and summer a very muddy marsh area that dogs love running through. Please bring your own towels & prepare for a muddy happy dog! The sheds on property are off limits & should not be entered. We kindly ask the you stoop and scoop after your dog as we have kiddos that play in the backyard from time to time. There are fences on both sides of the yard, however not on the side where the road is but when further down the property you’re unable to see the road. I am happy to provide a 60’ lead for your dog if needed for recall. I do have 3 dogs on the property however when there is a booking they will be inside. I have two reactive dogs, so please do not come onto the property without a booking. To get to the backyard, you will park in the driveway on the left & walk through the car port. Please have your dog on leash until through the car port as it’s close to the road. We are working on getting a riding lawn mower as ours is currently broken so bare with us on the grass. There are several toys in the backyard in a chuck it bucket it for dogs to play with, please note that the chuck it balls with the holes do not float and are quite hard to retrieve due to the mud from the shoreline, so take caution if your dog will drop it in the water. 💧 There are cameras on the house for security purposes. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Where can I find dog water parks in Stirling?

Stirling has 11 private dog water parks available through Sniffspot, offering swimming and water play in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 270+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Stirling dog water parks provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog water parks are in Stirling?

Stirling offers 11 dog water parks ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning 270+ acres. You'll find diverse options: fully-fenced for escape artists, indoor climate-controlled for year-round use, swimming pools for hot days, agility courses for training, and more. Each Stirling dog water park listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Stirling dog water parks good for all dog types?

Yes! Stirling dog water parks work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Stirling's 11 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Stirling dog water parks?

Not a chance. Stirling dog water parks operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Stirling owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Stirling dog water parks safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Stirling dog water parks provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off without overwhelming encounters. Many Stirling dog owners specifically choose dog water parks for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Stirling dog water parks?

Absolutely! Stirling dog water parks are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog water park in Stirling?

Start by filtering Stirling's 11 dog water parks for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Stirling's Jen's 100 Acre Private Dog Park and 2.5 miles of trails in Bath, Ontario. with excellent reviews. Read feedback from other Stirling owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Stirling's dog water park requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Stirling host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog water parks welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
