Fully fenced private backyard When son is home he has a lab. We had a mid sized poodle that we sent to heaven now just an indoor cat
With big wide open trails, forest, marsh, creeks and wildlife, this doggy paradise is attracting visitors from all over southern Ontario. It's been muddy and overcast for a few weeks but finally the sun has come out! The water is not yet frozen over but the ground is hard making for an easier (and less messy!) walk. Trail map is found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1do57Iq23GVfcDxiEGihv7dVUWFXBSrGq/view?usp=drive_link Trails are open, mowed and maintained all year long. In the winter I use them for cross-country skiing. It's OK if you or your dog walk in the paths made by my skis. We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees won't be out until April but please avoid the hives anyway. Read the reviews to get a good sense for what kind of experience you will have. I am grateful for all the positive feedback and pledge to make your experience just as fantastic.

Welcome to Goldenwood Acres! On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our chickens, gardens, woodmill, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line you have private access to the 6 acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. Note in the Winter, we have removed the gate due to snow and maintenance. Gates will be installed before March 2024. The best time to come is July between September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! Please check out the last photos, we have uploaded a printable "safety map" and legend for your use. "IMPORTANT: All prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD" We are sorry but we are closing our Sniffspot effective March 15, 2024. Beautiful private property in old Ancaster. 22 acres of old forest, trails, private lake, streams, wetlands, hills, large lawn areas. Pesticide free.
Explore a unique piece of history while enjoying the tranquility of large, private, well-appointed land, located next to an original stonework trestle constructed in the 1850s for the Erie Railroad. Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. While mostly shallow, the stream deepens at points for short swims. Your dog will love the rocks and sticks and playing in the water. The site is approximately 3 acres with a quarter mile marked trail. There are three large tables with plenty of stools, this spot is a great place to have a picnic while your dog plays. The wifi works well here too, just in case you need to check in.
Large open wildflower fields. Mowed grass trails. Some wooded trails. Hills and flat areas. Horse pastures are fenced with electric fence( not included in Sniff Spot) No real definite property markers (neighbors mow theirs as lawn, our fields are left naturally) so be aware when off leash.
