Santa's 3 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park Pasture In Emmett

Fully Fenced
3 acres

This is the field closest to Santa Lane and can park and enter the gate by the stop sign. There were cows and horses here this year so lots of treasures to sniff out. It is across the street from a livestock vet. Our dog is usually in her enclosed personal park in the fruit trees but does like to let us know when someone arrives.

Quiet Country Oasis

Unfenced
2 acres

Our place is off the beaten path and very quiet. That's the first thing people say when they visit- it's so quiet here! Our place is a work in progress so each time you come, you may see something new. This truly is our hobby farm. It's what we do in our spare time and we hope you enjoy it! Our property is 2 acres with lots of places to explore for a dog. Our own sweet Nana passed away a few years ago but she'd love knowing her favorite place was being enjoyed by other 4-legged friends. This is not a fenced yard so dogs that struggle with recall would not be a good fit for our place. We also have other farm animals, chickens, rabbits, cats and our pet pig, Nellie. We ask that dogs that would be bothered by these other critters not utilize our place. We have a walking path around a 1/2 acre of grass so you can get some steps in while your dog explores. All yard areas are available for use but be aware that we have some wood piles behind the barn that may have nails in boards or rusty metal. There's plenty of parking, water spigots and we'll set out some chairs for your use. **If you bring children, we ask that they not play on the play equipment for safety reasons

Frequently asked questions about West Boise dog fields

Why are private dog fields better than public dog parks in West Boise?

Private dog fields in West Boise eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. West Boise's 6 private dog fields offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are West Boise dog fields compared to public dog parks?

West Boise dog fields are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private West Boise dog fields eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are West Boise dog fields safe for reactive dogs?

West Boise owners of reactive dogs choose dog fields because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy full-speed running and fetch while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many West Boise reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use West Boise dog fields?

Yes! West Boise dog fields provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a large, open grass area where dogs can run at full speed and play fetch at their own pace without stress. Many West Boise dog fields offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are West Boise dog fields good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from West Boise dog fields because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in West Boise avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog fields eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do West Boise dog fields work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at West Boise dog fields because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for West Boise dog fields with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do West Boise dog owners say about dog fields?

Reviews of West Boise dog fields consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Megan's 4 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Mountain Home is particularly praised in West Boise. Read reviews to see real experiences from West Boise dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are West Boise dog fields?

West Boise hosts maintain their own dog fields and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many West Boise hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse West Boise dog field listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
