Country Sights and Sounds

Unfenced
15 acres

A beautiful mix of field, woods, and wetland, let your pup(s) run off that energy! The field trail is almost a 0.5 mi loop, but add on an extra trail to get more of your steps in! A short out-and-back path surrounded by tall wetland grass will lead you to a cool, clean segment of Lowes Creek (when it is dry enough for us to mow the trail…boots recommended!). Every season is special and accessible! This may mean snow, mud, puddles, or bugs, so please plan accordingly for all the country sights and sounds. *Cell reception is often spotty depending on your carrier.* Take a peek at our extra offerings when you book: Farm Friend Exposure and Run like the Wind!.

Black Dog Farmstead Beach

Unfenced
0.5 acres

Welcome to our private beach on the Buffalo River - the ultimate summer SniffSpot! The river is slow moving, clear, shallow and all sand. It is about 1-2 feet deep near our beach, and deeper on the opposite side of the river. In heavy rain, it ebbs and flows in depths. It is a very safe place to wade, play fetch, dig in the sand, teach dogs about water or just hang out on a warm day. You will park and walk to the beach on mowed trails through our woods about 600 feet to the beach. It is completely secluded on a beautiful bend in the river where you will be surrounded by woods. The SniffSpot availability is limited to the beach only, and not the rest of our property.

Winona dog water parks feature amenities designed for swimming and water play: swimming pools, splash pads, and waterfront water access, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Winona hosts customize their spaces. Browse 15 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Winona dog water parks?

Members get discounted rates at participating Winona spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Winona dog water parks listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog water parks in Winona compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Winona see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog water parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Winona hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Winona dog water parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Winona dog water parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Winona private dog water parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog water parks in Winona?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Winona that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Winona dog water parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Winona dog water parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Winona dog water parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Winona where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Winona dog water parks for special events?

Many Winona dog water parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Winona hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Winona dog water park listings for event policies.

How do Winona dog water parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Winona dog water parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Winona special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
