Forest Shore 10-Acre Private Dog Park in Jordan Ferry

Unfenced
10 acres

We welcome you to Nova Scotia's South Shore & Forest! We are situated on 15 acres with 800 feet of oceanfront on Jordan Bay. There are approximately 10 acres you may explore to your hearts' content! IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Some of our forest is untouched, some has trails, and there is to access a mostly rocky shoreline. On low tide, our shore surprises us with some sand, as well. With more trees than you can shake a stick at, we also have running streams throughout the property headed to our shore, depending on the season. A couple run out to the shoreline as waterfalls. We are constantly working on clearing more trails for your ongoing enjoyment.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Argyle compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Argyle see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Argyle hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Argyle dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Argyle dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Argyle private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Argyle?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Argyle that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Argyle dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Argyle dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Argyle dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Argyle where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Argyle dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Argyle dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Argyle hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Argyle dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Argyle dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Argyle dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Argyle special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
