Jen's 100 Acre Private Dog Park and 3.5 miles of trails in Bath, Ontario.

Partially Fenced
100 acres

Daily 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. we offer a partially fenced 100 acre property where your dogs can run free. Updated April 9 2026: Spring is upon us! We've got grass, water, mud, earth, and gravel going on. The birds and frogs are going crazy 😍 The pond is suitable for dogs to swim in now, the Spot is wet is places, and the culvert is full of water too. This is also suitable for dogs to swim. With spring comes ticks so please take suitable precautions. General description: Currently, we have 4 official walking trails (3.5 miles approximately). Two of these are groomed trails, plus 2 groomed 1 acre field play areas. In warmer months, the main trail and playing fields are cut short if you wish to avoid longish grass. We also offer 2 wooded walking trails, one short and one long. We keep the main trail plowed all winter, and side trails if the snow isn't too deep or heavy. We have chairs available in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit and balls available, fresh well water, bowls, and a garbage can in the first field also. There is a pond at the bottom of the first field to the right. Be advised that in spring and summer there are geese and ducks that nest there; muskrats and/or otters year round - please prevent your dogs from harassing the wildlife. I don't recommend the pond for swimming for humans at all and only for dogs in the spring until late May, but dogs swim in there all summer and fall; it's your choice. In winter, the pond poses a danger. Please don't allow people or dogs to go on to the ice. There will be a warning sign in winter. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and woods. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. You can often see deer, wild turkeys, vultures, and lots of other birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Part way back the main trail goes through a shallow marsh. In the spring the frogs singing is quite remarkable! Further along there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming when it is filled with water. This is marked with orange pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. Just past the culvert, there are 2 fields going East that are planted with winter wheat. We have trails cut around these that go along woods and takes about 15 minutes, ending back on the main trail. If you just travel along the main trail you will reach the big hill. There is a tree stand at the bottom of this hill that has a deer trail camera on the stair railing facing up the west side of the hill. Going East at the base of the hill is the entrance to The Shady Trail, a nice short trail going through the cedars. The entrance is marked with orange tape and an arrow. This trail ends at a small field with a deer stand in it, a red arrow marks the way back to the main trail. In and back would take about 10 minutes. Part way up this trail, you can take a side trail into the woods and follow the markers from there. Part way up the big hill, there is an entrance to the wooded trails. This marked trail meanders through the woods for about a mile, exiting at the top of the big hill, which is also marked with orange tape and an arrow. The main trail ends at the top of the big hill where you will see a Stop sign. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the side trails, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. During spring and summer, prepare for ticks and insects. Wear hats and appropriate insect repellent. ** The main trail can be icy in spots in winter so wear appropriate boots. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. We have a white garbage can for poop but please use biodegradable dog poop bags if you can. *Please remove your dogs' poop wherever they go!* *No smoking on the property* ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD, $11 per hour for the first dog, subsequent dogs are $5.50/hour. On your way home, stop at MacKinnon's brewery just down the road for food and drinks. They are dog and family friendly; an all around great place to visit! River lovers spot!

Unfenced
0.25 acres

RIVER LOVERS’ SPOT IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE…. We are overrun with Canada Geese. The nesting pair were welcome but the number that have moved in since are overwhelming. Their waste has made the site unpleasant. There are 50-80 in residence currently. The adolescents are 75%. Attempts to thwart them have not been as successful as summers past. I will change the calendar (and pics) as the move on. Summer is short!! UPDATE: We are awaiting approval by Dept. Environmental Conservation for ground changes. I’M ANXIOUS AND WILL POST WORD SOON…please be patient 🙁. Follow up 8/10/2022 With summer slipping away and things not changing on our waterfront, I’ve decided to open the calendar and see what happens. Things don’t always go as planned. The water is low. The shore is rocky (but not far in). The natural shore is pretty mucky. And there’s an old dock that needs to be pulled. Mostly cosmetic and negotiable with the keepers of the wetlands. DOGS DON’T CARE. Take a peek and see if it would suit your pup. We’ll be here next year but once it freezes it’s a “no dog” zone. 🐾 Dogs, bring your people and swim, run, or just watch the ships on the St. Lawrence. No fence but there’s more riverfront than road front. Our spot is small, quiet and your only distractions will be shore birds, waterfowl and fish. The shore is low rocks so good footing preferred. The water is shallow. The vistas are perfect. All dogs should have a river spot to share.

Unlike public parks with generic setups, Calcium hosts customize their spaces. Browse 10 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How clean are private dog water parks in Calcium compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Calcium see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog water parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Calcium hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Calcium dog water parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Calcium dog water parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Calcium private dog water parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog water parks in Calcium?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Calcium that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Calcium dog water parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Calcium dog water parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Calcium dog water parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Calcium where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Calcium dog water parks for special events?

Many Calcium dog water parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Calcium hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Calcium dog water park listings for event policies.

How do Calcium dog water parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Calcium dog water parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Calcium special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
