Howdy! I'm offering my 1acre homestead /Microfarm for Puppy Park Playdates! There's lots to do here! Plenty of sand and a digging spot for every dog! A huge quarter acre open grassy field is perfect for long passes and frisby games. The farmers field behind is a fun spot to observe wildlife and see cool tractors (fun for little people and silly adults too!) hose and sprinklers available for washoffs and a comfortable sitting area for humans. Access to restroom for humans & Of course water is available for all! We are at the edge of town- so there are less hazards...This space is also occupied by six plucky hens and one friendly (but lonely) Parsons Russell. This space is encouraged for smaller dogs but all *friendly* non-aggressive pets are welcome!

Frequently asked questions about Clovis dog fields

Why are private dog fields better than public dog parks in Clovis?

Private dog fields in Clovis eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Clovis's 3 private dog fields offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Clovis dog fields compared to public dog parks?

Clovis dog fields are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Clovis dog fields eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Clovis dog fields safe for reactive dogs?

Clovis owners of reactive dogs choose dog fields because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy full-speed running and fetch while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Clovis reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Clovis dog fields?

Yes! Clovis dog fields provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a large, open grass area where dogs can run at full speed and play fetch at their own pace without stress. Many Clovis dog fields offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Clovis dog fields good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Clovis dog fields because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Clovis avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog fields eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Clovis dog fields work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Clovis dog fields because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Clovis dog fields with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Clovis dog owners say about dog fields?

Reviews of Clovis dog fields consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite 1 acre microfarm FULLY FENCED-FOR THE LITTLE GUYS! is particularly praised in Clovis. Read reviews to see real experiences from Clovis dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Clovis dog fields?

Clovis hosts maintain their own dog fields and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Clovis hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Clovis dog field listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
