When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!

Just a field down a country road, if I get enough interest and traffic I will update the field as need be (ie: add fencing, toys, etc. etc.) so for now I ask all dogs to be leashed, on a long line, or if trained use of a training collar is fine. Pull down the driveway and park anywhere you’d like, there is an opening into a fenced in field there you can enter and begin your sniffing! • there is a rabbit up by the carport and a tortoise out behind the house please avoid these animals and parts of the yard. • The field is fenced with barbwire so be careful around the fence and stay inside of the fenced area when exploring. There will be a fresh bucket of water by the entrance, trash can, and poop scoop. Other amenities will come as we get established! Taller grasses for most of the year but it does get brush hogged from time to time and if the grass gets to tall I will mow paths.
