Hello! We have 2.5 fully fenced acres for your dog to run, sniff, swim and explore. We have goats on the property that are fenced separately, but dogs have access to smell them. There are horses, goats, donkeys, and chickens on the neighboring properties. There is a pond and a pool that isn’t fenced once inside the yard. I have a dog who will bark when you arrive, but he does stop. There are several cats on the property who are used to large dogs and very good at disappearing. Chances are you won’t see them at all. I also have two small pastures that can be closed off to keep dogs in a smaller area if necessary. Lots of trees for shade. Our grass is always cut down and we keep the property watered (as best as possible) so no sign of rattlesnakes. During the spring/summer months, there are stickers, welcome to country life! Dogs are allowed in the pool, I just ask that you don’t let them in the pond and then the pool. It makes it very dirty. Please rinse them off if they do before entering the pool. The pool is salt water. If you want to swim with your fur baby, please click the “extra” to add that and follow all rules. I try to meet everyone for their first visit but if I can’t I will send a message letting you know. There is a picnic table and chairs so feel free to bring a snack or picnic lunch and enjoy. Where your dog can feel just at home as we do, we are dog lovers and glad to welcome any pet to use our place we just ask to be respectful and treat it as your home, pool is open for summer 😎☀️🏖️🐶🦴 there is a 5-10 minute grace period for arrival and leaving ! Please note there may be wild turkeys 🦃 in front yard they are easy to shoosh away please keep dog on leash until in the backyard .

The Gulch Lake

The ultimate dog escape! A certified organic ranch and dreamy lake surrounded by rolling hills! Your dogs can experience wild foul, fish and cattle or spend their time time swimming away at the lake! There is a picnic table (not in the best shape, but can fit about 4 people) for your stuff and a great combination of sun and shade surrounding the lake! We recently added a 1.2 mile trail around our property. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Accessing our lake requires a bit of a walk through uneven terrain with cow holes, which may be challenging for some. If you have difficulty walking on rough ground, this Sniffspot may not be the best fit. While there is a path, it is not perfectly smooth, and less active visitors may find it hard to navigate. Cows do roam freely in the same field. They are harmless, but please be sure to close all gates securely when entering or leaving the area. We recommend ignoring the cows—they’ll leave you alone if you do the same. Our house is the only house on the right side of the road. Please do not stop/disturb the first houses on the left side of the driveway. Keep coming down our driveway and park near the light blue green house on the right. If you’re wondering if we test for toxic blue green algae, the answer is yes! The test was negative! Please see our pictures for confirmation of a negative test! Test performed on 6/1/25

The Gulch Pool

Welcome to our dog pool! Yup, that’s right, we designed this pool specifically for dogs!!!! We have 3 large benches that accommodate dogs of all sizes (some benches are more shallow/deeper than others), plus a step that goes all the way around the pool for dogs to walk on. In addition to that, we have a step in the deep end that makes it easy for the dogs to get in and out of the pool! We also have bubblers inside of the pool (the dogs go crazy over these) and then outside of the pool we have fountains that shoot into the pool! This is literally a dream pool for dogs and dog owners! The pool is surrounded by artificial turf and a gorgeous view! We can’t wait for you to check out our pool! Summerfield Park

Summerfield Park in West Sacramento, California is a fully fenced dog park with strict guidelines for owners. Dogs must be leashed before and after entering the off-leash area, be vaccinated, healthy, and at least 4 months old. Female dogs in heat are not allowed, and aggressive behavior is not tolerated. Owners must clean up after their pets and only bring a maximum of 3 dogs each. Children under 12 must be supervised. The park offers amenities like chairs, tables, an indoor restroom, and a swimming pool. Summerfield Park is open from 8 am to 10 pm every day. Poolside Lounge & Play for Pups & Their People

Lounge beside the pool while your pups play and sniff to their heart's content. Read your book in the egg swing or drink your beverage stretched out on a chase lounge. You and your pups are all welcome to use the pool but be forewarned, it is not heated and very chilly until warmed by the summer heat. Some dogs can't resist a pool. Please encourage them to do so with your careful supervision. Call dogs out of the pool at any sign of cold or distress, including shivering, coughing, or submerging. There is no bathroom available for humans. Dogs can use the yard, of course. Please clean up after them with bags provided, and dispose of all waste in the gray tote outside the gate. Park*facing* the white brick wall in front of the house, to the *right* of the driveway. Walk up the driveway past the tent trailer, and enter through the gate on the left. Bring towels, a chucker, your picnic lunch, and have fun!

While this is a dog focused activity I understand that timid or new swimmers may need in pool assistance and that’s no problem/no extra charge. On the other hand if you want to bring the fam/friends and swim laps with your pups and break out some pool floats there is an additional $10 charge. ***New policy change. Please take your dog waste with you. Thank you for understanding.❤️🐾 Note for reactive pups: There is a small bulldog that lives next door about 50% of the time now.
