Melissa's 2.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Newcastle

Hello! I have 2.5 fully fenced in acres for your dog to run, sniff, swim and explore. I do have goats on the property (and my neighbors) that are fenced separately, but dogs have access to smell them. There are horses, goats, donkeys, and chickens nearby, but not on the property. There’s a small pond with fish and frogs, and a pool that dogs can access (is not fenced). I have a small dog who may bark when you arrive but will stop. There are several cats on the property who are used to large dogs and very good at disappearing. Chances are you won’t see them at all. I also have two small pastures that can be closed off to keep dogs in a smaller area if necessary. Lots of trees for shade. Our grass is always cut down and we keep the property watered so no sign of rattlesnakes. During the summer months, there are stickers, welcome to country life. We have had several dogs come visit the property and they always love coming back. I try to meet everyone for their first visit but if I can’t I will send a message letting you know. There is a picnic table and chairs so feel free to bring a snack or picnic lunch and enjoy. I look forward to having you and your pup come visit.

Poolside Lounge & Play for Pups & Their People

Lounge beside the pool while your pups play and sniff to their heart's content. Read your book in the egg swing or drink your beverage stretched out on a chase lounge. You and your pups are all welcome to use the pool but be forewarned, it is not heated and very chilly until August. Some dogs can't resist a pool. Please encourage them to do so with your careful supervision. Call dogs out of the pool at any sign of cold or distress, including shivering, coughing, or submerging. There is no bathroom available for humans. Dogs can use the yard, of course. Please clean up after them with bags provided, and dispose of all waste in the gray tote outside the gate. Bring towels, a chucker, your picnic lunch, and have fun!

The Gulch Lake

The ultimate dog escape! A certified organic ranch and dreamy lake surrounded by rolling hills! Your dogs can experience wild foul, fish and cattle or spend their time time swimming away at the lake! There is a picnic table (not in the best shape, but can fit about 4 people) for your stuff and a great combination of sun and shade surrounding the lake! We recently added a 1.2 mile trail around our property. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Accessing our lake requires a bit of a walk through uneven terrain with cow holes, which may be challenging for some. If you have difficulty walking on rough ground, this Sniffspot may not be the best fit. While there is a path, it is not perfectly smooth, and less active visitors may find it hard to navigate. Cows do roam freely in the same field. They are harmless, but please be sure to close all gates securely when entering or leaving the area. We recommend ignoring the cows—they’ll leave you alone if you do the same. Our house is the only house on the right side of the road. Please do not stop/disturb the first houses on the left side of the driveway. Keep coming down our driveway and park near the light blue green house on the right. If you’re wondering if we test for toxic blue green algae, the answer is yes! The test was negative! Please see our pictures for confirmation of a negative test! Test performed on 6/1/25

Long run from gate entrance. Big backyard with swimming pool. House accessible. Two dog beds. Separate fenced area not for dogs with a garden. Another fenced area not for dogs that needs cleaning. Just stay in big backyard area. I check the fence all the time for issues because my dogs go out there and they are little. Sunscreen and towels on the table if needed and poop bags. Please dispose of bags when you exit gate. Trash can right there. Thank you.

Welcome to our dog pool! Yup, that’s right, we designed this pool specifically for dogs!!!! We have 3 large benches that accommodate dogs of all sizes (some benches are more shallow/deeper than others), plus a step that goes all the way around the pool for dogs to walk on. In addition to that, we have a step in the deep end that makes it easy for the dogs to get in and out of the pool! We also have bubblers inside of the pool (the dogs go crazy over these) and then outside of the pool we have fountains that shoot into the pool! This is literally a dream pool for dogs and dog owners! The pool is surrounded by artificial turf and a gorgeous view! We can’t wait for you to check out our pool! Summerfield Park

Summerfield Park in West Sacramento, California is a fully fenced dog park with strict guidelines for owners. Dogs must be leashed before and after entering the off-leash area, be vaccinated, healthy, and at least 4 months old. Female dogs in heat are not allowed, and aggressive behavior is not tolerated. Owners must clean up after their pets and only bring a maximum of 3 dogs each. Children under 12 must be supervised.
