Absolutely wonderful! There was SO MUCH SPACE for my pups to sniff and explore. I absolutely will be back sometime in the future, this was a great way to enrich my dogs mind. Now they’re all tuckered out and ready for a great nap!!! The gate is a little hard to find, and kinda hard to put back up, but otherwise I loved this place!!
My dogs had a good time scavenging around on the field. They had lots of smells coming from the air because of the horses Nextdoor. We will be back!
Great spot, shady in the back so it was comfortable even on a hot day. Thoughtful host brought my dogs some water. Will be back! Thanks again.
For anyone wondering if it’s worth driving from Wichita- this is a fantastic spot. Just large enough that your dog(s) get some exercise & explore. Unlike other Sniffspots in Wichita Karen does a good job especially with communication.
AMAZING spot to let the dogs run free and have an awesome time. Even a picnic table in the shade to relax in and I always bring some bones for them to cool down and chew on, so this was absolutely amazing for a break today for us all. Peaceful, birds chirping, and we had a blast and now they're exhausted Thank You for opening up your property for people like us! We travel the country and look for spots just like this to play in, in between our long road trips! My dogs give it a Jumping for Joy, Four Paws Way Up review!
Peaceful country space. My dogs love sniffing in the natural “prairie patch” portion of the park. This is a nice addition to overall enrichment activities for our pet pals.
Ideal if you need an off leash space for a dog that doesn’t thrive in an overcrowded dog park.
Located out near Newton City Airport. Weather was extra windy today - glad I wore a wind jacket and sunglasses. (It is Kansas, after all!) Great communication from owner. Will return.
It worth the effort to come out to this spot because Karen does a fantastic job with communication & keeping the spot clean/well maintained.
This place is truly magical. Rebecca and I drove up to the farmstead flanked by horse pastures and met Jennifer. She pointed us the way to go. We kept our pups on leash as we walked between the horse pastures and got to a large hedge. Once we passed the hedge we were in a huge field surrounded by inpenetrable blackberry bush hedges. The field has great grass and is very peaceful. Walking through the field there is a grassy pathway to the woods that border the river. Our dogs had an amazing time running and sniffing around the woods and playing the river. I found the river to be very slow and placid, so I felt good about the dogs playing in it. Also, Jennifer said there are nesting bald eagles in some of the trees, but we didn't see any this time around. It is truly an amazing place to visit!
This sniff spot was a dream come true for my pupper. Since I moved to the Seattle area 8 months ago she has not been able to run free at all, because she is not good around other dogs. To see her zoom around and prance through the flowers was such a gift! The yard is a nice size, with large areas of both sun and shade, including a covered area beneath the raised deck. As promised, no other dogs were present and entry/exit was private and easy. She especially enjoyed bouncing through the tall grass and flowers in the back and sides. The host was very friendly, and even brought out a gallon of water for the two of us and offered the wi-if password. He was very happy to be able to provide the service, and was genuinely happy that we were there. There were no complications, and I will definitely be returning on a regular basis.
Soba and I loved this spot! The yard is enormous, full of thick grass and fully fenced with a 6 ft fence. It is definitely large enough to throw a tennis ball, but Soba ended up playing with Micaela's dog instead, who is an adorable Cocker Spaniel who is super friendly. I didn't see this, but Micaela let me know that they have a renter who lives in their basement who sometimes comes and goes through the yard, so the yard is not guaranteed to be completely free of humans.
Excellent spot! Perfect size for older dogs that want to be outside but don’t have the stamina to do a large area.
My dogs loved it. Water was set out for my pups and they had plenty of sniffs here. Perfect & peaceful view off the road.
Our Sophie had a great visit. We asked if the hostess would bring out her dog to play, and both dogs had a great time. There were toys, costumes, a tunnel, and a water bowl for the dogs. The yard was nice size for running and it wasn't all flat so there was running up and down. I highly recommend Common Scents sniff spot. We certainly will be back.
We have been to this sniff spot several times now and it is a great space! This time there were neighbors’ dogs barking on both sides (no fault of this sniff spot owner!). It luckily gave us a great training opportunity but we had to cut our time a bit short since my reactive dog was getting a bit overwhelmed. The spot still gets 5 starts from us because we still had fun getting some energy out after all of the recent cold days.
My dog had a super fun time! It is a nice private area with plenty of space. The host also provided tons of amenities.
Very nice yard and perfect for my dog to explore and hang out with a friend! There were lots of toys available to play with too!
My dogs loved this Sniffspot! Plenty of room for the zoomies! Perfect for enrichment at a great price too!
Great spot for our personal pup and foster pup to have some fun! We appreciated the toys and water bowl left out. We will be back!
My dogs loved the little tunnel and the snacks Emily so kindly left out for us. Has a nice little doggy pool and she even provided towels, a very thoughtful host!
Great place with nice shade to sit and relax. Great amenities! Bottled water was provided and a towel in case my doggo wanted to play with the water hose. Wonderful host!
