A private hiking trail for dogs and their owners 🐾 there will not be any other dogs out on the trail. Our trail is located in Bolton (Waterbury address). It’s is approximately 1 mile up the mountain. There is a Brook that follows the trail most of the way up. The trail starts out with a nice mowed path and leads you into a beautiful canopy of trees as you head into the woods and it quickly turns into a steep uphill hike. We have 135 acres for you to adventure on ! Please follow the signs for the trail head parking - go all the way past the barn outfront and you will see a sign on your right.

Froggy Acres is located at the end of a private dirt road. No traffic worries for you or your dog! 13.5 Acres of dog heaven. Meadows, trails, seasonal creek, pond and large lawn for play. Hang out on the deck overlooking the pond and watch your dog play. Large greenhouse/solarium can be used as “Dog Lounge” when the weather is cold or wet. There is a small fenced area for smaller or shyer dogs to play and socialize. A dog washing station is available for guests to use for those extra dirty furry friends. In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
