Run Free on the Farm: Private 11-Acre Organic Escape in Rural Ohio

Unfenced
11 acres

Welcome to 11 acres of pure freedom. Nestled in the heart of rural Ohio, this private farm is the kind of place dogs dream about — wide open space, woodland trails, fresh air, and zero other dogs. We are a certified organic farm and never use weed killers or harsh chemicals on our lawn or land, so you can feel good about letting your dog roll, sniff, and explore freely. Every visit is a solo reservation, so your pup — or the whole pack — has the whole property to themselves. What's Included 🌿 The Side Yard (2 acres) A wide open grassy space perfect for off-leash running, fetch, and zoomies. Because this area is closest to the front road, we recommend it for dogs with solid recall — it's a great space for confident, well-trained off-leash dogs to really stretch their legs. 🌲 The Woods (3 acres) A newer wooded area with trails winding through, wild blackberries to sniff and snack on along the way, and a beautiful clearing in the middle centered around a fire pit. We recommend bringing your own camping chairs if you'd like to settle in and spend some time out there — it's a genuinely peaceful, private spot to slow down, enjoy the quiet, and just soak in nature while your dog(s) explore freely. This area is also set back well from the road, making it a great option for dogs that like to roam. 🌾 The Farmland Trail (3 acres) A mowed walking trail loops the edge of our farmland — great for on or off-leash walking at a relaxed pace with wide open views in every direction. 🏡 The Barn & Back Yard (3 acres) Explore the working farm grounds around our barns and the open back yard. Set back from the road, this area is one of the more relaxed and secure parts of the property — great for dogs who like to wander and sniff at their own pace. 🦆 Farm Animals We have free-range chickens and ducks! If your dog(s) are animal-friendly, we're happy to let them roam for the full farm experience. Kids accompanying you are more than welcome to visit with the animals. If you'd prefer the animals secured during your visit, just let us know — no problem at all. 🌅 Evening Visits If you ever have the chance to book an evening slot, don't pass it up. The open fields to the west make for absolutely stunning sunsets — the kind you don't forget. Head back to the pond area, take it all in, and let your dog wind down the day in one of the most peaceful settings around. 💧 The Property A small irrigation ditch runs along the back of the property, and there's a pond on the back acreage that guests are welcome to explore — just keep in mind neither is really a swimming or splashing spot. Plenty of great sniffing territory back there though! Why Guests Love This Spot ✅ Completely private — your reservation, your time, your dog(s) only. Bring the whole pack! The only rule is no strange dogs from other bookings — this time slot is exclusively yours ✅ Organic farm — no weed killers or harsh chemicals used anywhere on the property. Safe for paws, noses, and everything in between ✅ No fencing needed — surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland on all sides. We have a great relationship with the neighboring farmer, so if your curious explorer wanders a little, there's no stress ✅ One road at the front — the wooded trails, farmland loop, and back yard are all set back and naturally buffered ✅ Family farm atmosphere — we have 4 kids who love dogs, but we're happy to keep things low-key indoors if your dog(s) prefer a quieter visit. Just ask! ✅ Super flexible availability — we work around your schedule. Reach out and we'll make it happen A Note From Us We're a real family on a real working farm, and we genuinely love dogs. We created this space because we believe every dog deserves a day to just run — not on a leash, not in a crowded dog park, but truly free. Come explore with us. Flexible scheduling — message us anytime to book.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Fremont compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Fremont see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Fremont hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Fremont dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Fremont dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Fremont private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Fremont?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Fremont that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Fremont dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Fremont dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Fremont dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Fremont where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Fremont dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Fremont dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Fremont hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Fremont dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Fremont dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Fremont dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Fremont special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
