Puppers Pollinator Path and Prairie Sanctuary with Dig Zone in Elkhart

Fully Fenced
2 acres

We have a Pollinator Path and Prairie Sanctuary with Sensory Fun including a Dig Zone for your puppers. We have a fenced in Backyard for you and your puppers enjoyment. The backyard is around 6900 square feet of off leash fun. We have additional attractions coming as the summer progresses. The Pollinator Path is close to .5 miles in 2 acres. It is a mowed path and your dogs are welcome to be on long lead throughout the area. There is wildlife and infrequently a domesticated animal neighbor that might try to join you. Safety is key. I will have long leashes available to borrow! As in any prairie and pollinator area, there may be thorns, raspberries and poison ivy off the path. In the backyard there is plenty of shaded seating on the patio so you can relax while zoomies, sniffs and yayas are being fulfilled. Pookie and Belvedere (as well as their humans) may be in the house when your dogs are here. But, they will keep all their 4-legged fun inside so your dog (or dogs) can enjoy the space.

Frequently asked questions about Gladbrook dog fields

What amenities do Gladbrook dog fields typically include?

Gladbrook dog fields feature amenities designed for full-speed running and fetch: big field and open space, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Gladbrook hosts customize their spaces. Browse 11 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog fields in Gladbrook with water access?

Many Gladbrook dog fields include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Gladbrook days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Gladbrook hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog fields in Gladbrook compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Gladbrook see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog fields have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Gladbrook hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Gladbrook dog fields on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Gladbrook dog fields offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Gladbrook private dog fields let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog fields in Gladbrook?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Gladbrook that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Gladbrook dog fields have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Gladbrook dog fields allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Gladbrook dog fields welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Gladbrook where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Gladbrook dog fields for special events?

Many Gladbrook dog fields welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Gladbrook hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Gladbrook dog field listings for event policies.

How do Gladbrook dog fields accommodate dogs with special needs?

Gladbrook dog fields are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Gladbrook special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
