Maple Ridge Farms-100 Acre Woods

Unfenced
100 acres

Our 100 acre farm has been in the family for over 30 years. We have put a lot of time and effort into the property. And we would love to share it with you and your fur family to. The trails are all very well maintained. You will likely see birds, deer and plenty of wildlife throughout the trials. We hope to see you out and about enjoying it just as much as we do with all of our animals. ****Notes**** Happy WINTER❄️☃️Please keep the weather in mind. All of our trails are in the woods. We try our best to drive the trails and keep them open as much as we can snow permitting 💪❄️ We HIGHLY recommend if the wind is Above 15 mph to reschedule. (You can cancel and get your money back-we understand) We just don’t want you or your pet getting hurt if anything were to happen in the woods. One other thing. Don’t forget bring those Boots. 🥾 All of our trails are usually dry. But if you do come after it snows or rains it could be a little muddy. There could also be some sticks on the trails if it happens to be super windy the day before and we can’t always get them cleaned up right away-we do apologize in advance 😊💪 One other thing: if it's snow, we don't put the water buckets out because we don't want them to freeze. I don't know about your pups, but mine love to eat the snow anyways. 🪣🤣☃️ Thank you for checking out our spot!! We look forward to meeting you and your furfriends. 🐕☺️ Maple Ridge Farms ❤️ *** If you have any questions always feel free to message us and ask ☺️🐕

Frequently asked questions about Grand Junction dog hiking trails

What types of dog hiking trails are available in Grand Junction?

Grand Junction has 20 dog hiking trails with diverse features: woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Grand Junction. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book dog hiking trails in Grand Junction?

Grand Junction dog hiking trails are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Grand Junction listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a dog hiking trail in Grand Junction?

Browse 20 available dog hiking trails in Grand Junction, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Grand Junction locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular dog hiking trail in Grand Junction?

Maple Ridge Farms-100 Acre Woods is highly rated among Grand Junction dog hiking trails, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Grand Junction listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use Grand Junction dog hiking trails for training sessions?

Yes! Grand Junction dog hiking trails are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Grand Junction professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do Grand Junction dog hiking trails accommodate multiple dogs?

Most Grand Junction dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog hiking trails let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do Grand Junction dog hiking trails offer?

Grand Junction dog hiking trails feature amenities like woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Grand Junction listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are Grand Junction dog hiking trails available year-round?

Many Grand Junction hosts maintain their dog hiking trails throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog hiking trails provide year-round access regardless of Grand Junction weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
