2026 ADDED AMENINITY! (See in description )Denise's 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park In Swansea

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

Welcome! Our property’s back yard has a large lake, which acts as part of the “fencing”. Otherwise, it is fully fenced. So if your furbaby is a swimmer, they will LOVE it here! There is a ramp leading directly into the water near our dock. However if your fur baby loves to swim TOO much, and decides to exit the lake on the opposite side of our property or in a neighbor’s yard, then you may have to hop in your car and retrieve them around the block, but If they have good recall, awesome! Bring a picnic blanket and relax under a tree!! Lots of shade, and wildlife (ducks, geese, squirrels, raccoons) (Do not let your dog harm any of the wildlife). If your dog is a “prey” dog and you fear it will chase and catch a duck, goose, raccoon, then this may not be the place for you. “Leave It” is one of the best learned commands a pooch can have! 😁Please note, the lower half our our property is gated, but you are welcome to roam back there with dog on leash, only because this is very close to raccoons and possums. We do care for an injured raccoon, but have other visitors now, such as possums, stay cats and skunk. (Typically we only see these guys at night, but just still be very mindful). We love ALL animals and want to respect them. If your fur baby knows “leave it” then FANTASTIC! Also the lower half of yard is hilly with some stumps/stones here and there, so use caution…roam at your own risk. 😊 During the winter, if the lake is freezing over or frozen, we will NOT allow bookings. However if you do book during a winter month, when the lake is questionable, you resume 100% responsibility for your pup and yourself. THE 2026 ADDED AMENINITY: Fishing is allowed! Have some fun too while your pup is having a good time! BRING YOUR OWL POLE AND BAIT. We throw our fish back, but if you catch a nice size catfish, you are welcome to keep. ONE PER VISIT THOUGH. Please be responsible with any hooks or bait. Please do not leave on property and avoid hooks getting left in trees and the lake. Water bowl, toys and poop bags available for your use while here. Please do clean up after your pooch/pooches. ENJOY!🐶😊💕

Frequently asked questions about Greenville dog water parks

What amenities do Greenville dog water parks typically include?

Greenville dog water parks feature amenities designed for swimming and water play: river, stream or creek, lake or pond, beach, swimming pool, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Greenville hosts customize their spaces. Browse 8 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog water parks in Greenville with water access?

Many Greenville dog water parks include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Greenville days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Greenville hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog water parks in Greenville compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Greenville see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog water parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Greenville hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Greenville dog water parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Greenville dog water parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Greenville private dog water parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog water parks in Greenville?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Greenville that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Greenville dog water parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Greenville dog water parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Greenville dog water parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Greenville where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Greenville dog water parks for special events?

Many Greenville dog water parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Greenville hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Greenville dog water park listings for event policies.

How do Greenville dog water parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Greenville dog water parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Greenville special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
