Kyle's 15 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Georgetown

Unfenced
15 acres

This location sits along Indian Creek. There are a few access points to the creek as you walk along the field. Grasses will remain short until May. At that point nothing is mowed until August to promote nesting and wildlife habitat. There are no houses visible from this location. A road runs along the property, but if you follow the creek you can easily stay 500-1000 feet off the road. Your dog will be free to roam, swim in the creek, dig all it wants with no worry of hurting anything, go to the bathroom freely in the wild. I trained Labrador retrievers for 16 years, and would love to help with retrieval skills if requested.

Carter's Private Dog Park

Unfenced
36 acres

Carter’s Private Dog Park allows dogs to explore the trails and creeks in the woods area, walk the 1/2 mile gravel driveway, play in acres of grass fields, and enjoy the obstacles set up for our sister horse obstacle course (Alliance Equine Obstacle Course) where all areas are located on a private, gated entrance (BUT not fully fenced) farm. Guests will need to keep dogs leashed to stay on the farm property and not roam onto neighbors land. Please note horses and cats are also on site. Horse pasture is not accessible to guests. Additional fully fenced wire field (appx 1/2 acre) can be added as an extra where your dog can be off leash. Please pick up after your pet at all times with own bags. Water is available for drinking for dogs from a hose near the parking area or creeks (at times) in the woods. Outdoor Bath with hose (not heated) is an extra if planning to have your dog swim in the pond and wash before leaving. Owners must bring own dog leash, shampoo, towels, water bowls and waste bags for their dog as needed. Price is per dog. Additional dogs with one owner follow Sniffspot’s policy of half price per dog.

Frequently asked questions about Greenville dog hiking trails

What types of dog hiking trails are available in Greenville?

Greenville has 10 dog hiking trails with diverse features: woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Greenville. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book dog hiking trails in Greenville?

Greenville dog hiking trails are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Greenville listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a dog hiking trail in Greenville?

Browse 10 available dog hiking trails in Greenville, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Greenville locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular dog hiking trail in Greenville?

Kyle's 15 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Georgetown is highly rated among Greenville dog hiking trails, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Greenville listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use Greenville dog hiking trails for training sessions?

Yes! Greenville dog hiking trails are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Greenville professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do Greenville dog hiking trails accommodate multiple dogs?

Most Greenville dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog hiking trails let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do Greenville dog hiking trails offer?

Greenville dog hiking trails feature amenities like woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Greenville listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are Greenville dog hiking trails available year-round?

Many Greenville hosts maintain their dog hiking trails throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog hiking trails provide year-round access regardless of Greenville weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
