Field & Trees 10 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Homerville

Unfenced
10 acres

We are Dan & Laura. We own 3+ acres of a cleared, mowed grass field area PLUS 7 acres of wooded ‘truck width’ trails. The trails are maintained with our mower, so no or minimal brush on them, making them easy to navigate. They are also color coded marked for ease of sense of direction. These woods are ‘working’ woods, as we harvest fallen trees to use for heat, so it is NOT Metro Park pristine! The trails are dirt, of course, and will be muddy- according to the weather conditions… However…. There always seems to be trails that maintain their drained dryness more than others. Our trails cover the entire perimeter of the property! They weave in and out among themselves! Quite a fun adventure! Pictured are wildlife- however- there is absolutely no guarantee you will see any. We have NO domestic deer like most suburbs do, so there may be NO sightings- just hoof prints. You have access to warm hose water during the cooler/ cold months. You are permitted to smoke and bring a cooler. If bringing kids please let me know. I will try to plant a feather or something for them to ‘find’ - You will pick up a sheet upon arrival, and parking is on site.

Daniel's 7 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Doylestown

Partially Fenced
7 acres

This 7 acres features a fully wooded experience with trails, a creek, and plenty of room to run. Kaylie's 5 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Spencer

Unfenced
5 acres

Unfenced acreage, pond available for water play, there is a trail (not paved) that goes along the property as well that you could walk. There are domestic and wild animals on the property, it’s your call to leash or to not leash your pet, we are on a major highway road so I would recommend if you off leash your dog that they have good recall skills.

Run Free on the Farm: Private 11-Acre Organic Escape in Rural Ohio

Unfenced
11 acres

Welcome to 11 acres of pure freedom. Nestled in the heart of rural Ohio, this private farm is the kind of place dogs dream about — wide open space, woodland trails, fresh air, and zero other dogs. We are a certified organic farm and never use weed killers or harsh chemicals on our lawn or land, so you can feel good about letting your dog roll, sniff, and explore freely. Every visit is a solo reservation, so your pup — or the whole pack — has the whole property to themselves. What's Included 🌿 The Side Yard (2 acres) A wide open grassy space perfect for off-leash running, fetch, and zoomies. Because this area is closest to the front road, we recommend it for dogs with solid recall — it's a great space for confident, well-trained off-leash dogs to really stretch their legs. 🌲 The Woods (3 acres) A newer wooded area with trails winding through, wild blackberries to sniff and snack on along the way, and a beautiful clearing in the middle centered around a fire pit. We recommend bringing your own camping chairs if you'd like to settle in and spend some time out there — it's a genuinely peaceful, private spot to slow down, enjoy the quiet, and just soak in nature while your dog(s) explore freely. This area is also set back well from the road, making it a great option for dogs that like to roam. 🌾 The Farmland Trail (3 acres) A mowed walking trail loops the edge of our farmland — great for on or off-leash walking at a relaxed pace with wide open views in every direction. 🏡 The Barn & Back Yard (3 acres) Explore the working farm grounds around our barns and the open back yard. Set back from the road, this area is one of the more relaxed and secure parts of the property — great for dogs who like to wander and sniff at their own pace. 🦆 Farm Animals We have free-range chickens and ducks! If your dog(s) are animal-friendly, we're happy to let them roam for the full farm experience. Kids accompanying you are more than welcome to visit with the animals. If you'd prefer the animals secured during your visit, just let us know — no problem at all. 🌅 Evening Visits If you ever have the chance to book an evening slot, don't pass it up. The open fields to the west make for absolutely stunning sunsets — the kind you don't forget. Head back to the pond area, take it all in, and let your dog wind down the day in one of the most peaceful settings around. 💧 The Property A small irrigation ditch runs along the back of the property, and there's a pond on the back acreage that guests are welcome to explore — just keep in mind neither is really a swimming or splashing spot. Plenty of great sniffing territory back there though! Why Guests Love This Spot ✅ Completely private — your reservation, your time, your dog(s) only. Bring the whole pack! The only rule is no strange dogs from other bookings — this time slot is exclusively yours ✅ Organic farm — no weed killers or harsh chemicals used anywhere on the property. Safe for paws, noses, and everything in between ✅ No fencing needed — surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland on all sides. We have a great relationship with the neighboring farmer, so if your curious explorer wanders a little, there's no stress ✅ One road at the front — the wooded trails, farmland loop, and back yard are all set back and naturally buffered ✅ Family farm atmosphere — we have 4 kids who love dogs, but we're happy to keep things low-key indoors if your dog(s) prefer a quieter visit. Just ask! ✅ Super flexible availability — we work around your schedule. Reach out and we'll make it happen A Note From Us We're a real family on a real working farm, and we genuinely love dogs. We created this space because we believe every dog deserves a day to just run — not on a leash, not in a crowded dog park, but truly free. Come explore with us. Flexible scheduling — message us anytime to book.

22 acres of an unfenced dog spot In Marengo

Unfenced
22 acres

Located at Grins & Pickin's CampFarm, an outdoor recreation facility located just outside of Marengo, OH. Dogs love all the smells here! We are rooted in nature! There are paths, trails, woods, a creek, a fishing pond and fields to explore, run and play. You may park in the parking lot at the back of the driveway near the outbuildings. A small trash can and water dish will be provided. There is a map of the grounds on the bulletin board and you will notice that the property is rectangle shape with half of the grounds green space and the other half wooded. If you unleash your dog, it must obey when you call it back because if it goes into the neighbor's yard, I will have to close my spot.

Frequently asked questions about Lakeville dog hiking trails

What do private dog hiking trails in Lakeville offer that public parks don't?

Private dog hiking trails in Lakeville offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for natural exploration and varied terrain, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Lakeville can't guarantee any of this. With 12 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Lakeville?

Yes! Most of Lakeville's 12 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Lakeville listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog hiking trails in Lakeville?

Puppies can visit Lakeville dog hiking trails as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore natural exploration and varied terrain without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Lakeville trainers specifically use dog hiking trails for puppy development.

How do I find private dog hiking trails near me in Lakeville?

Browse Lakeville's 12 dog hiking trails on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Lakeville listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite 50 Acre Unfenced Organic Farm In Grafton is particularly popular among Lakeville dog owners.

Can I rent dog hiking trails in Lakeville by the hour?

Yes! All 12 dog hiking trails in Lakeville are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Lakeville dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog hiking trails and public dog parks in Lakeville?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Lakeville mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 12 Lakeville dog hiking trails give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys natural exploration and varied terrain and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog hiking trails in Lakeville?

Yes! Lakeville has climate-controlled indoor dog hiking trails perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Lakeville locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Lakeville weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Lakeville dog hiking trails help with dog training?

Lakeville trainers love dog hiking trails because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for natural exploration and varied terrain.
