55What a great spot! Lots of vegetation for dogs to roam through and explore. Hose, couch and sunshade umbrella provided. Various dog, pull toys, sticks and balls to choose from. Host seems very kind and even allows you to take a couple of grapefruits home.
I was a little concerned when I booked this spot about wildlife, mostly in the name of coyotes. However, once I arrive to the spot, it’s actually in a fairly residential space, but with all of the vegetation, you wouldn’t necessarily know it. Point being, this enclosed space is great for little dogs and owners can sit on the couch and relax, even if they can’t see their dog.
This spot is a good 20 minute drive for us so we may not come back frequently, but with the clean air and cool breeze… We will definitely be back at some point! Great spot thanks for having us!Monette S.

55If you’re like me and have a reactive doggo, this was a really great spot. There was some barking in the distance, but nothing overwhelming at all, and plenty of space and sniffing areas to help dogs stay relaxed and engaged.
The host was incredibly thoughtful and even provided water for my dog, which was so appreciated. They also generously offered fresh grapefruit right off their tree, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, a peaceful, welcoming Sniffspot that we’d happily visit again 🤍🐾Giselle E.

55Lovely spot. Did some long line training. Free play. And settling down practice. We're teaching Sterling the art of relaxing because he's always on. Thank you for the bug spray. Our spot was from 10-Noon. I totally forgot my mini fan and spray. Much appreciated. Lovely place to play. <3Rene A.

55Beautiful peaceful spot. Very clean and we appreciated the fresh water, shade, and dog amenities like a cot and toys. Lush greenery around the fence makes it very private and less likely to spot the occasional neighbor walking by (great for my reactive dog). Katrin K.

FAQ about our Tujunga dog parks
Are private dog parks better than public dog parks in Tujunga?
Yes, private dog parks in Tujunga eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dog encounters, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments. With Sniffspot's 2 private locations in Tujunga, you get complete privacy during your booking, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. No more worrying about aggressive dogs or unsafe conditions. Barbara's Orchard and other highly-rated Tujunga locations consistently receive 5-star reviews for safety and cleanliness.
Are Sniffspot dog parks in Tujunga safe for all dog types?
Absolutely! Tujunga Sniffspot locations welcome puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel overwhelmed at public parks, high-energy dogs needing room to run, and reactive dogs requiring privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets exactly the environment they need with no compromises. Whether your dog is friendly, selective, anxious, or anywhere in between, Tujunga has 2 options to match their temperament.
When can puppies start visiting dog parks in Tujunga?
Puppies can visit Tujunga Sniffspot locations as soon as they have age-appropriate vaccinations (typically around 8-10 weeks with their first round of shots). Unlike public dog parks where you'd wait until puppies are fully vaccinated at 16+ weeks, Sniffspot's private bookings eliminate disease risk from unknown dogs. This early, safe socialization in Tujunga helps prevent fear and reactivity issues later. Many Tujunga trainers specifically use Sniffspot for puppy development.
How do I find private dog parks near me in Tujunga?
Browse Tujunga's 2 private dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your zip code or neighborhood. Filter by distance (within 5, 10, or 25 miles), then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities like dog water parks or small dog parks. Each Tujunga listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Barbara's Orchard is particularly popular among Tujunga dog owners.
Are Tujunga dog parks good for small dogs?
Yes! Many Tujunga Sniffspot hosts specifically mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're sized appropriately for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs can be intimidated or injured by larger dogs, Tujunga private bookings give your small dog the entire space. Filter for secure fencing with no gaps, smaller yard sizes, and hosts who cater to petite pups. Some Tujunga dog park locations even have separate small dog areas.
What's the difference between Sniffspot and public dog parks in Tujunga?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Tujunga mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. You can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 2 Tujunga locations give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, you get amenities like dog water parks, small dog parks, and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Do Tujunga dog parks allow senior dogs?
Yes! Tujunga Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious dogs. Look for Tujunga spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, easy access, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility. The privacy means your older dog can enjoy off-leash time safely and comfortably.
Can I rent a private dog park in Tujunga by the hour?
Yes! All 2 Sniffspot locations in Tujunga are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer if needed. Book instantly through the platform, arrive during your time slot, and have the entire space to yourself. Many Tujunga dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise for their dogs.
