JJ's Bark Park and Pool in the West Valley

A rustic, ranch terrain private 2 lot backyard with a pool, zipline (150 LB limit PLEASE), treehouse, foosball, croquet and trampoline. The fun dogs really love the trampoline. Many venture into the treehouse. Chasing a kid down the zipline is very exciting. Beware of mole holes and where dogs have dug up the yard. Again, rustic! Lots of dirt and unlevel terrain, so flip flops are for the pool area only. Wear shoes if you’re venturing into the yard, easement, treehouse, and unbuildable yard up the hill. Water bowls are in the shade by the tiki bar. Please refill them for the next guests. Feel free to hose down the pooches if necessary. It gets hot and dusty! Some of them like drinking from the hose which is fine, just try to aim it away from dirt areas so there’s less mud baths for those crazy dogs to roll around in please. This family loves dogs, and we have one of our own and often board other dogs. They may be jealous and bark to let us know they want to play or they’re warning us there’s someone in “their” yard. If you don’t like barking, don’t come here. Our neighbors dogs bark too. Pending your arrival and leave time there may be other dog poop that we haven’t been able to get to or other sniffspotters missed, so just get your own doggies poop if you can catch it. Pay it forward if you notice one someone may have missed. It happens. We have a bucket and poop grabber available. Just leave it in there. We’ll take care of it. If you insist on using your own bags, please only use disposable environmentally safe ones as this area has been zoned for composters and all poop bags and poop go in the green bin in the driveway. If they aren’t the biodegradable kind, please take your poop bags with you. There is a yellow pitcher for the boy dogs who love to pee on things. IF you catch them peeing on the chairs, perhaps you could help yourself and other guests not to smell it by filling that pitcher with pool water and pouring it onto the marked territory. Thanks! You will find various remnants and maybe even newer toys strewn across the yard. They’re there to be enjoyed by all the doggies. The pool is for the dogs and you too! Bring your towels and swimsuit. Bring a friend or two, no extra charge. Safety in numbers. We want this space to be used by others at a reasonable rate financially and good time investment. So please, please clean up after yourselves, so we don’t have to hire someone to be on staff to clean up and raise the rate or shut this thing down. Play and swim at your own risk. If you have any questions about anything, please ask. There is lots of seating to watch the pool activity if you have that lab that needs pretend they’re at the lake. Ask Alexa to play whatever music you want. She’s hanging out by the garage. Picnic at the fire table or on the back deck. If ya find a table dusty, some rags and windex are at the tiki bar. If you spill something, please clean it up for the next guest.

Always well kept, water available, nice shady tree, and HUGE yard. My dog loses her mind when we come around the corner. we will return again and again.

Place is great! My pup was so excited that he knocked me down in excitement when we first arrived 😂. My pup had a great time exploring the very large yard. There’s nice shade under the tree and two chairs where you can sit. I was able to get some reading done while my pup explored. It was very peaceful. Only downside is that there were a few piles of dog poo around the yard, so this is just a reminder to visitors to clean up after your dog. The owner even has a trash can and doggie bags by the gate for dog owners to pick up after their pups.

Big space for running. A bit on a hill. Be sure to bring your own poop bags. Not shady.

easy to book, easy street parking, and good size yard. some spots of hard dirt were a bit uneven, but overall not a huge impact on the visit. overall perfect place to bring the pups to stretch their legs a bit. will definitely be coming back

Great time at the park today. Still a little damp from the rain but my dogs loved it. This is a great spot also aways clean no other animals around. Quiet spot good for training. I think all would enjoy going there.

This was my first time visiting a Sniffspot location, and my experience was absolutely wonderful. My dogs had a blast running around the large open area. The yard is fully fenced and well equipped with water and designated bins to dispose of poop bags. It was a clean and peaceful environment. I will definitely be returning. Thanks Christopher!

We had 5 dogs that all enjoyed frolicking about the large yard. Beautiful surroundings, water available for the dogs. Christopher was clear with instructions for us which our trip easy. It was an 80° day in January so it was unfortunate that the pool was not available. We would enjoy bringing the dogs back for another day of fun!

My dogs had a great time. The Yard was huge with plenty of shade and grassy area to run on. The goats in the neighborhood’s yard were fun to watch. And the pool was very clean. There is also a nice pond with fish. Plenty to keep the dogs interested.

Second visit and we had fun! Large space. Clean. Peaceful. Host communication was great and my pups got tired running up and down the hill. We did hear the neighbor’s dog a few times but the gate is tall and we couldn’t see him. My dogs barked a bit and then totally forgot about it.

Great quiet spot! Fence is very secure and high plus the yard had a little incline for my active dog to run up and down, which was perfect for him!! Hose was acceptable, trash bin for poop, and adorable chairs under an orange tree for the humans!

Lots space to play and explore, even after all that rain ground was just soft not muddy or messy. My dog who primarily like to sniff and explore loved it!

Amazing massive space that’s just a couple miles away. There are two flat areas separated by an incline which we find more fun. The next door neighbor dog startled my reactive dog at first, but once he was out of sight all was good.

Wonderfully spacious yard. Ample street parking. The house number is a little hidden but it’s on the asphalt. Super easy to access once we were sure it was the right place! First time using this app and this yard - definitely will come again.

Our six Australian Shepherds had a blast. Easy to find and understand instructions. There are a nice couple of chairs in a shaded area for us to sit in and watch them play. Lots of shaded areas for the kids to play. We went in late February, so the weather was great. Looking forward to the next time.

Really wonderful location and very easy access. My two Shepherd/Malinois mixes had a great time and were able to run and explore without risk of getting out etc. Chickens in the rear of the property were fascinating to them as were the Koi in the front Pond. Overall good spot and will gladly return.

Nice sized yard. With shaded area for you and the pooch! The pool was really nice especially if you’re trying to teach your dog to swim like me. No holes in the fence. Plenty of room for play. This is nestled in a peacefully quiet little neighborhood with no distractions other than the occasional squirrel. Take ‘em for a swim! Play ball, or bring another playmate wrestle to wrestle around in the yard! If your dog isn’t scared of the occasional plane flying over I definitely recommend this spot.
