Field & Trees 10 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Homerville

We are Dan & Laura. We own 3+ acres of a cleared, mowed grass field area PLUS 7 acres of wooded ‘truck width’ trails. The trails are maintained with our mower, so no or minimal brush on them, making them easy to navigate. They are also color coded marked for ease of sense of direction. These woods are ‘working’ woods, as we harvest fallen trees to use for heat, so it is NOT Metro Park pristine! The trails are dirt, of course, and will be muddy- according to the weather conditions… However…. There always seems to be trails that maintain their drained dryness more than others. Our trails cover the entire perimeter of the property! They weave in and out among themselves! Quite a fun adventure! Pictured are wildlife- however- there is absolutely no guarantee you will see any. We have NO domestic deer like most suburbs do, so there may be NO sightings- just hoof prints. You have access to warm hose water during the cooler/ cold months. You are permitted to smoke and bring a cooler. If bringing kids please let me know. I will try to plant a feather or something for them to ‘find’ - You will pick up a sheet upon arrival, and parking is on site.

There is a small cattle farm to one side, and is otherwise landlocked, aside from the 400 foot entrance. The trails are not professional, and the location offers a wilderness of fun. Stay on the trail, or don't. Let your dog go where it's nose leads! There is partial fencing on two sides. Located at Grins & Pickin's CampFarm, an outdoor recreation facility located just outside of Marengo, OH. Dogs love all the smells here! We are rooted in nature! There are paths, trails, woods, a creek, a fishing pond and fields to explore, run and play. You may park in the parking lot at the back of the driveway near the outbuildings. A small trash can and water dish will be provided. There is a map of the grounds on the bulletin board and you will notice that the property is rectangle shape with half of the grounds green space and the other half wooded. If you unleash your dog, it must obey when you call it back because if it goes into the neighbor's yard, I will have to close my spot.
