55This spot was perfect for my friend’s and my reactive dogs. Tidy, lots to explore and open space too. The closed gate had a little too wide a gap for my svelte Dobie so we put a chair in front of that and it was no problem. The fencing around the perimeter is very secure. We will be back!!Andrea J.

55Terrific Sniff Spot! Nicely varied space for running around, sniffing, and playing. The dogs had a great time and are nice and tired. Even my anxious dog was VERY calm and comfortable here. If you’re looking for a well-manicured open field, this is not your target. But If you’d like a visit to doggy paradise, this might just be it. Polly O.

55We visited for the first time and it was our first SniffSpot! It was really easy to find, lots of room for GSPs to spread their legs and fly, and it was securely fenced. Both dogs had a great time finding toys already there and running around. Thank you so much for sharing! We will be back!Kacee B.

55My dogs really enjoyed this spot! Although it isn’t enormous, there is plenty to explore and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the hour passed while the dogs entertained themselves. Given that they both consider themselves expert hunters (and I’ve lost them plenty of times) I was a bit paranoid about holes in the fence. I walked the perimeter and felt confident with everything except for one noticeable hole in the back fence on the side pasture (walked through a second open gate). I was able to cover it up with a pallet that was conveniently next to it- no problems from there! Would definitely come again. Jenna K.

55My dog loved running in the large yards! She also was so excited once she noticed the goats and chickens! She had never been exposed to Llamas so seeing those nextdoor add great as well! She had a great time and we will remember to bring towels next time because it is wet but the host was more than thoughtful and left us a few!!Michelle S.

55Great spot for sniffing and exploring. Watch out for dog poop, we didn’t see a trash can here and it looks like previous guests either didn’t pick up after their dogs or did but didn’t pack it out. Lots of undergrowth in this spot too and watch out for blackberry vines. Fencing looked pretty good but there were a couple spots where a smaller dog might be able to slip through. We will be back! 55I absolutely loved this place. Very natural setting like taking a walk through the woods with several open areas to play catch, lots of places to explore. It was clean, completely fenced, we didn't worry about our dogs escaping or getting hurt. I will definitely take my pups here again.Debbie G.

55Our terrier mix couldn’t have been happier than she clearly was during our visit to this lovely Sniff Spot. Friendly hosts, big open spaces, no traffic in the area, and nearby farm animals - what’s not to love? Yes - there are some swampy areas in the field, but relatively easy to avoid and plenty of dry space for running and playing. We’ll certainly plan to come back!Polly O.

55The dogs LOVED this place! And so did I. Inbar's communication was impeccable. I was worried about previous reviews that mentioned there were holes under the fencing, but Inbar let me know that they've reinforced the fencing since then, and as soon as I saw it, my worries went away. This is a GREAT place for environmental enrichment for you pup - so many sniffs and tons of room to run at full speed. We will definitely be back!Michelle R.

55Our pups had a great time in this large open space! It was a bit swampy when we went but our dogs like that sort of thing, and we were expecting it. As the listing says, a good recall is important. We knew one of our dogs would be fine with the barnyard animals but were introducing our puppy to them (chickens and goats) for the first time, and he was *very* interested in them. The fence separating the barnyard animals from the dogs is secure enough to keep the barn animals in, but not enough to keep a determined dog out, so please be responsible in your choice. Jamie F.

55The space was very natural with large evergreen trees, small hills and some blackberry brambles. The site was very clean (no poop) and our dog loved sniffing and moving around the space. It is somewhat large- not confining at all. The only concern was a few dug out spots where a medium dog could fit through to escape into another fenced area. The dug out spots may have gotten larger since it was previously written up, so we had to keep our eyes on it. We would definitely return! Alicia K.

55Athena had SO MUCH FUN here!! She was so excited about the goats, who just stared at her in amusement from the other side of the gate haha. The grass yard was big, which was awesome for fetch! Lots of space for her to run!Amy H.

Frequently asked questions about Okanogan dog fields
What do private dog fields in Okanogan offer that public parks don't?
Private dog fields in Okanogan offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for full-speed running and fetch, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Okanogan can't guarantee any of this. With 3 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.
Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Okanogan?
Yes! Most of Okanogan's 3 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Okanogan listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.
When can puppies start visiting dog fields in Okanogan?
Puppies can visit Okanogan dog fields as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore full-speed running and fetch without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Okanogan trainers specifically use dog fields for puppy development.
How do I find private dog fields near me in Okanogan?
Browse Okanogan's 3 dog fields on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Okanogan listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Chelan Dog Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Manson is particularly popular among Okanogan dog owners.
Can I rent dog fields in Okanogan by the hour?
Yes! All 3 dog fields in Okanogan are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Okanogan dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.
What's the difference between Sniffspot dog fields and public dog parks in Okanogan?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Okanogan mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 3 Okanogan dog fields give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys full-speed running and fetch and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Are there indoor dog fields in Okanogan?
Yes! Okanogan has climate-controlled indoor dog fields perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Okanogan locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Okanogan weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.
How do Okanogan dog fields help with dog training?
Okanogan trainers love dog fields because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice long-distance recall across open space, running drills, or field sports like fetch and frisbee, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for full-speed running and fetch.
