The I-5 of the Pacific Northern railways runs right by my property. The trains are frequent and loud. Be aware if you have sound reactive dogs (or humans). My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile.

There are 2 miles of graveled roads and 6 miles of trails to hike, along with a creek that runs thru the property. You will have cell phone service at the Christmas tree lot area where you will park, but limited cell phone service if you decide to hike around. There are seats at the xmas tree lot, along with water and a garbage can 🐶. Welcome to Columbia Gateway! *Please avoid the west-end under construction, for the safety of yourself and our ADU project.* Our park is a fairly wide-open space where your dogs can run and play. We have a variety of shady spots, trees, plants that harbor animals and birds. Pick your fill of blackberries July-August. Please never bring any unvaccinated dog or puppy. Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes. Extra waste bags are available in the old metal milk box located on the ground, left of the porch steps. Credits are given to good samaritans for helping with missed piles! Please report any problems, hazards, concerns or issues as soon as possible! We want to get things handled asap! Absolutely no digging; Please do not allow your dog to dig. Private areas: -house including the porch - Water is provided unless freezing temps are expected May-Sept PLEASE USE SPIGOT next to House Chimney for water. If not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle should always be open (up) in summer months. Dedicated Park area is EAST of the driveway and the grassy area that wraps around back of the house. Have a good time exploring and playing! We appreciate your business and love dogs. Please just encourage them to avoid the porch areas and flower/fruit gardens. Leave any open water line or hose running if found that way in summer months. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. This is a rare but possible occurrence. This 15+ acres of hay field is mostly fenced, with an opening at the top. If you choose, there is a path along the outside that leads to a creek(unfenced) to the right at the field. There are dogs at the front of the property, which are fenced in. There is possibility of hearing barking from them or neighbors. I teach dog training at the red barn, you may come to parking lot of cars. Dogs will always be leashed and under control and typically away from the parking lot. The students are instructed to leave you alone. Off road parking, I will give clear directions before arrival. Come roam around a huge open space! Bring a ball or just have a sniff party! *Electric Fence surrounds the horse pasture - which you must pass to get to the sniff spot* Please keep to the designated sniff spot area, the top field and barn area is NOT open to the public. Any equipment in the area, including dog agility equipment, is NOT for public use. Please take your waste with you or dispose of it properly!

We live on 20 acres and it’s all open field with the exception of our house and barns. There are neighbors and old barns to stay away from but other than that the field behind our house or on the east side is available for you and your dogs to roam. There is often a mowed trail around the property but beware in the rainy weather it’s wet and can get deep!
