Rent safe and private dog fields hosted by locals in Yakima, Washington

This place is lovely and HUGE for our small dogs. The signs to this place and parking are very clear. We all had a great time exploring and checking out the farm animals!

I loved this sniffspot! Mix of different terrains and no shortage of spots for my pup to explore. Definitely think it’s a bit more treacherous than some other spots, so some things worth noting: not all of the fencing feels entirely secure, the water doesn’t look like water you’d want your dog to jump in (in case you have a pup who can’t resist, I might avoid this spot), and there’s a good amount of sticker bushes and hard to navigate hilly woods area.

We had a great time! Would love to come back and use the fire pit. My dogs loved exploring the creek!

Our dogs loved this Sniffspot! A bit muddy when you first enter so follow their instructions to wear boots/shoes that can get dirty. A very cute cow was visible when you enter as well. It has a really large open area and some wooded area - our 2 pups had a blast exploring and playing fetch!

This is a great spot for a dog sniffari! I took my rescue dog on a 20' leash and he had so much fun sniffing and listening to the rooster crowing!

A fabulous Sniffspot! We have added this to our list of favorites. The description is very accurate - the property consists of a number of interconnected horse pastures and the outer rim of the property is entirely fenced. The description indicates the fencing is 4 feet high but it appeared to me that most or all of it was closer to 5 feet. The entire property is very well manicured and very walkable, although there is one hilly pasture which would be great for wearing out a ball obsessed dog. Speaking of which, Labradors (and other water obsessed dogs) will adore this Sniffspot. It has two ponds - large enough to swim in and play the ever popular fetch. There are also a couple docks that would allow for any dock diving dogs to have a blast. We visited on a rainy day, but in the dry, warm weather the the ponds’ “beach front” areas will be a strong attraction for humans too as they can lounge in the provided Adirondack chairs. There is one additional water feature - a creek - at the back of the property too. Overall, it is a beautiful park like setting and my dog ran back and forth and all around the whole time we were there.  Laurie was a warm, welcoming host too. I received a message from her immediately upon making the reservation and I learned she has a reactive dog too. This made me feel comfortable from the start as she understands well the need for a private, secure place for reactive dogs. She kept hers inside and crated during our visit and we never even heard any barking. In addition, she has horses but keeps them securely in the barn during Sniffspot visits.  Overall, we had a blast and plan to come back often. Highly recommended for reactive dogs and all others. A wonderful experience in a beautiful park like setting! Laurie is such a wonderful hostess! Very safe for the dogs! For me and my dogs, this is perfect!

All I can add to the earlier, accurate reviews is that this Sniffspot is heavenly! Our dogs had a fabulous time, pretending to be racehorses on the lovely pasture land and around the fences. The hounds don't care for water, but had great fun checking out the rushes at the shore. Great host, super communication, and a lovely Sniffspot. Thank you Laurie!

Best Sniffspot we've been to! It's so beautiful and pristine. Our dogs loved swimming in the 2 ponds on the property, and we loved being there to watch them romp and play.  Horseback riders are nearby, so we diverted the dogs' attention, and two big loose dogs came barking at the owner's gate, but our dogs were non-reactive, so there was no drama. We can't wait to go back!  

The best spot ever!  My dog had so much fun running around the property.  Very well kept and secure.  I have a reactive dog and felt secure letting him roam freely.  We’ll definitely be back! 

Laurie's property is absolutely beautiful and she is a wonderful host! My dog was in heaven tearing around the pastures, jumping into the pond, and exploring all of the smells - pure doggie joy! The property is enclosed just as described and is very safe and peaceful. Thank you for providing such an amazing spot and for making my dog's whole week! We will definitely be back!

This is our new favorite Sniff Spot! The young dogs raced around the pastures while the old guy walked sedately with the people. It's a beautiful spot with lots of room for the dogs to explore. Like the host says, there are gaps in the gates where dogs could get out, but the perimeter of the property is otherwise very secure. My dogs were too busy exploring the smells, ponds and mud puddles to bother with the gates. It was wonderful to see their happy faces while they raced around. We'll be back. A lot.

This is like an amusement park for dogs. Tons of space. A bit muddy but it rained yesterday. There wasn't really a visible place to sit, but otherwise a perfect spot.

My dog loves this place! It was a our second visit and just like the first time he ran and explored the whole hour and didn’t want to leave. Laurie is a very welcoming and communicative host too. Five star experience!

This is an amazing new Sniffspot. Lots of room to run and explore and it did not take long for our pup to take a swim in the pond. Laurie was a great host. We will definitely be back soon. 

This was our 1st Sniffspot visit and I am afraid we are spoiled for all others. This gigantic playland for dogs is well fenced as my dog can attest to. She roamed every inch of what I believe is 10 acres. I have never seen her run and play as much as I saw her today. She is now asleep in front of the fireplace totally exhausted from a wonderful day. Laurie is a kind person who provided me all the information I needed to make this a safe, fun visit for me and my dog

The property is amazing (dog paradise) and the host was very welcoming. Will be fun to come back when it is warmer and the dogs can explore the water. 

Our first visit - we are eager to return and explore more of the pastures and spend more time in the ponds when it was warmer. This is a wonderful location, very private and beautiful. Communication from the host was excellent. Overall an awesome Sniffspot discovery!

Laurie’s property was fantastic. I felt so at ease knowing my dog could romp around freely while being securely fenced in. I thought booking for an 1.5hr would be too much time, but it really flew by! My one tip would be to make sure you bring high value treats with you to make sure you can get your dog to leave when it’s time!
