Open now! Maxie Water Park 🏖️Private Dog Pool In San Jose

Fully Fenced
0.11 acres

🐾 Welcome to Maxie Pool! Open now for this warm spring! The first private swimming pool in the area, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes (one of each), pool toys, and treats available. -We are open in spring since the weather is warm recently. The water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). In early March, we tested that the pool water temperature is around 63-70F degree during day time. We had some big pups(golden retriever, bernedoodle, and labs) come to swim, and they all had a lot of fun. However, the pool is unsuitable for people to swim in spring. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, and dog treats to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. Each additional dog includes 1 guest free. -Extra guests: $15/person/hour. If you are bringing more guests, you can select in the EXTRA section when booking. -For safety reasons, children under 16 are not allowed. -Bringing 4+ dogs or hosting a doggy party? Please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to help arrange! 🏊 Pool Rules To keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone: -Supervise your dogs at all times; no coach/lifeguard provided. -Pets & humans swim at their own risk. -No bathroom available, please plan ahead. -No food, treats, or glassware in the pool. -No peeing/pooping in the pool, please let us know immediately if your pup has accidents happen. -Dogs must be leashed entering/exiting; off-leash only once the pool steel gate is locked. Keep the pool steel gate locked at all times. -Keep noise down. no yelling, screaming, or loud music (quiet neighborhood). -Respect landscaping, there are plants, turf, rocks, and mulch; dogs play at their own risk. -Bring your own towels, no hoses, outlets, dryers, or shower facilities available. -Do not touch pool equipment, misuse will result in charges. -Pool cleaning is every Monday, there may be pool chemicals present. -Security cameras are at the entrance and backyard; footage is reviewed only for incidents. 💙 Thank you for helping us keep Maxie Pool fun, safe, and clean for every pup. We can’t wait to welcome you and your dog for a tail-wagging good swim!

Sterlyng's Private Dog Park In Morgan Hill (Temporarily Closed)

Partially Fenced
10 acres

We are on 10 acres and would love to share our yard with you. Beautiful Mountain View’s amongst grape vines with gravel pathways. On the interior portion of the park is a dirtbike track with a more rugged terrain and incline walking. Definitely more weeds, but if you are looking for a more off road feeling this is another option aside from the full pathway around the perimeter of the dirtbike track. This time of year the grapevines are a beautiful with lots of beautiful green foliage. We do also have a cool off spot in the front of the house under a very large old pine tree with roses to smell while your dog has their belly on the cool green grass by their water bowl in the shade. Where your new morning or afternoon ritual begins. Please note: Pool is an ‘extra’ charge. You can add this item as an extra while adding this spot to your cart. Not included in base charge. PUP PARTIES 🎉🥳🎈🎁🐶🐾🎈🎁🎉 We are still new to SniffSpot but have been asked multiple times recently if we would host pup parties. This is something I have not yet put a price point on but can make this feasible as well. If you are interested in coordinating something, please message me and I can send you SniffSpot items available for parties. (i.e. BBQ, Tables, chairs, shaded areas, pool time. etc)

What amenities do Pacific Grove dog swimming pools typically include?

Pacific Grove dog swimming pools feature amenities designed for safe swimming: swimming pool, safety vest and water hose, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Pacific Grove hosts customize their spaces. Browse 5 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog swimming pools in Pacific Grove with water access?

Many Pacific Grove dog swimming pools include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Pacific Grove days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Pacific Grove hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog swimming pools in Pacific Grove compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Pacific Grove see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog swimming pools have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Pacific Grove hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Pacific Grove dog swimming pools on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Pacific Grove dog swimming pools offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Pacific Grove private dog swimming pools let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog swimming pools in Pacific Grove?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Pacific Grove that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Pacific Grove dog swimming pools have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Pacific Grove dog swimming pools allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Pacific Grove dog swimming pools welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Pacific Grove where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Pacific Grove dog swimming pools for special events?

Many Pacific Grove dog swimming pools welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Pacific Grove hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Pacific Grove dog swimming pool listings for event policies.

How do Pacific Grove dog swimming pools accommodate dogs with special needs?

Pacific Grove dog swimming pools are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Pacific Grove special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
