The entire 40 acres is fenced BUT if a do really wants to get out they can. Cattle fences. We have two amazing dogs, we do airbnb & they are also allowed to play with our guests pets so they are very well obedient and LOVE visitors. We would require the owner to be with their dog. No drop offs unless we have had & know your dog before. There is a pond. Level changes but usually always has water. We do have Longhorn Cattle super sweet, BUT you would need to be aware that you should stay away, because they dont know their own length if head turns. We do have a walking path up to top of hill but you would need to let us know in advance if you didnt want Cattle loose. They leave you alone if you leave them alone. 🐾 Welcome to Maxie The first private swimming pool in the area with spacious backyard to explore, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes, pool toys, and treats available. -The water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). In October, we tested that the pool water temperature is around 63-70F degree during day time. We had some big pups(golden retriever, bernedoodle, and labs) come to swim, and they all had a lot of fun. However, the pool is unsuitable for people to swim in fall. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, and dog treats to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. Each additional dog includes 1 guest free. -Extra guests: $15/person/hour. St. Stephen's in-the-Field Episcopal Church's Fully Fenced Yard In San Jose

Hello! We’re just getting started hosting with Sniffspot and are excited to host you! Please let us know what we can do to improve the space. A past guest let us know we needed better signage, so we got a bright blue sign printed and hung it on the fenced area. Another guest mistook the community garden (incompletely fenced) for the play area (completely fenced). If you see vegetables, the area is not completely fenced! You're welcome to explore, just be respectful of the gardeners and plants please. The avocado tree overhanging the play area is dropping fruit right now, so if your dog likes to eat random stuff on the ground please be careful! The play area is tucked between St Stephen’s in-the-Field Episcopal Church and the left hand fence (turn from Santa Teresa Blvd onto Avenida España, then take the first right and head to the back). There are two churches on the lot, ours is at the back, with ample off street parking and lots of gardens to explore, in addition to the enclosed play space. Feel free to message with any questions!

Last mowing day: June 3, 2026 SUMMER: Recommend AM visits before 10am or evening after 5pm. Our spot is full sun with very limited shade. We are trying to eliminate the foxtails but we have a large property and cannot guarantee we get all of them. We are pesticide-free so all removal is done by hand/tractor. **Horses visible in adjacent property occasionally Additionally, guests can enjoy the adjacent hillside which is partially-fenced. You are welcome to enjoy this off-leash or, if you're more comfortable, take a little stroll through the grass. NOTE: There may be foxtails and ticks in this area.
