Beth's Private Yard In Philadelphia

Fully Fenced
0.001 acres

Welcome to our yard! This is a long, narrow bricked space between two row homes in Fitler Square that can accommodate up to two dogs. It’s great for fetch, sprints, and provides a safe, secure space for dogs and owners not comfortable in dog parks. However, if you’re ready, the Schuylkill Dog Park is 1.5 blocks away! My 65 pound dog runs here multiple times a day in addition to walks and park trips. The more notice you are able to give will allow us the opportunity to temporarily remove her from the property during your visit and ensure the space is poop-free for your arrival. Please clean up after your dog. There is no garbage on-site and the trash cans behind the property do not belong to us, so please scoop and take it with you- there are ample receptacles in Fitler Square Park and a garbage at the corner of 23rd and Spruce.

FAQ about our Center City dog parks

What amenities do private dog parks in Center City offer that public parks don't?

Center City private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Beth's Private Yard In Philadelphia is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Center City listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.

Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Center City?

Yes! Most of Center City's 2 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Center City listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.

How clean are private dog parks in Center City compared to public ones?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Center City are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Center City maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Center City hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.

What types of dog parks can I find in Center City?

Center City has 2 diverse options: dog water parks for specific training activities, small dog parks for different environments, and fully fenced dog parks for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Center City to find convenient options.

Can I book Center City dog parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Center City Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Center City private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.

Do Center City dog parks have water access?

Many do! Filter Center City's 2 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Center City's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Center City hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.

Are there indoor dog parks in Center City?

Yes! Center City has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Center City locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Center City's covered and climate-controlled options.

What's the best time to visit dog parks in Center City?

With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Center City. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Center City locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
