55A very sweet spot for dogs to run around in and relax. I picked a toasty time of day but there was plenty of shade and my dogs enjoyed just laying around and having a place to themselves. There is a shaded patio full of wonderful goodies for humans and pets and everything was very clean. Marybeth W.

55This was our first use of SniffSpot, and our puppies had a wonderful time. Since we don't have a place for our little girls to run in our condo complex, and they can only get a little bit of exercise on the 15' long-leashes, or around our condo, they are a little out of shape. So they ran hard, for 15 minutes. This was a good place for them, and the elevated grade gave them a bit of an extra workout chasing the tennis balls thrown by the hand-launchers, both provided by the host. We took a little break on the shaded patio for water and some simple brain-engaging treat games. That was nice, and was a comfortable place for us big two-legged dogs.
Party girl, Lucy, was, as always, up for more! She may have been tired, but if she's alive, she's ready to go and go some more. She continued to run after the balls, and wanted Molly to join-in with their usual sisterly rivalry. While Molly wanted to, she no longer found the tennis balls interesting enough. But, when I pulled out the tug-of-war knotted rope, it got her going... until she ran up the hill after it and Lucy grabbed it first, then she was only half-heartedly into it. Still, Lucy kept trying to get her sister to play as they jogged back down the hill.
We forgot to snap photos, but did get 3 short videos after about 20 minutes. I will see if I can upload those here. Two of the videos show Lucy running after the balls, slower than earlier since they alerted tired by then, and the third shows both of them chasing the knotted rope with Molly only partly into it. Lucy keeps trying to engage her though.
They got to meet the neighbor dog, Prince, who was very nice. Our puppies love other dogs, so they were interested. Lucy started to bark at Prince but was easily quieted; maybe because she was tired. Lucy came back down the hill with me, but Molly stayed back and made a new friend. They took turns licking each other's noses through the fence. Both were quiet and friendly.
The yard was trimmed and the landscaping rock along the sidewalks that provide the pathway to the back added a nice groomed look around the patio. Outside the yard, on what looked to be City property, we saw foxtails which can be very dangerous for dogs, so we were glad to see that the few areas that might be prone to those weeds inside the yard were freshly trimmed back. Once we got home, a check of the girls fur found not a single hitchhiker. They were clean! Plus, the yard has great fencing for our 25lb, mini-Australian Shepherds, who do like to jump.
It was a great first experience.
And a huge Thank You from Lucy and Molly!!!Joel C. and Mark J.

55Parking was easy, directions were clear, and the space was great. The yard was clean, had plenty of space, and a great area for my two dogs to run around. I appreciate the shaded area along with the options to purchase items for our dogs and also drinks. Would definitely come back again! Don M.

55We loved this spot! It’s wide open and natural. We went early morning and heard a rooster in the distance. My dog was able to get his Aussie energy out. He ran back and forth and around at full speed- something he can’t do at home. He happily sniffed every corner and answered all the pee-mails😝 Parking is easy, access is easy. 💖Liz S.

FAQ about our Encanto dog parks
What types of dog parks are available in Encanto?
Encanto offers 2 diverse Sniffspot options including dog water parks, small dog parks, and fully fenced dog parks. Whether you need a fully-fenced yard for a dog with poor recall, a climate-controlled indoor space, a swimming pool for hot days, or an expansive field for running, you'll find it in Encanto. Filter by fencing, size, amenities, and "fewer dogs seen/heard" to find your ideal match.
Are Encanto dog parks safe for all dog types?
Yes! Encanto Sniffspot locations are designed to accommodate every dog: energetic puppies, cautious seniors, tiny toy breeds, giant breeds, social dogs, and yes—reactive or selective dogs too. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the exact environment they need. Whether your dog thrives with stimulation or needs calm and quiet, Encanto has 2 options to match their personality and needs.
How do I book a dog park in Encanto?
Browse 2 available Encanto dog parks, select your preferred date and time, and reserve instantly through the Sniffspot platform. Most Encanto locations offer instant booking, while some hosts prefer to approve requests. You'll receive confirmation, exact address details, and check-in instructions after booking.
When can I visit Encanto dog parks?
Sniffspot's private booking system lets you reserve Encanto dog parks based on host availability, and many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for your schedule. Check individual Encanto listings for specific availability and any seasonal considerations.
Do I need a membership for Encanto dog parks?
Sniffspot operates on a membership model with monthly or annual plans that include credits for bookings. Members get discounts at participating spots. New users can start with a 7-day free trial. Don't worry, there are no additional booking fees! Your credits cover everything.
What's the most popular dog park in Encanto?
4 Paws 🐾 1 Heart ❤️ Half Acre Fenced Dog Park in San Diego Opened on Holidays! is highly rated in Encanto, known for excellent amenities and consistently positive reviews. However, the "best" park depends on your dog's needs. A reactive dog might prioritize privacy and secure fencing, while an active dog might prefer acres of running space. Browse Encanto listings to find your perfect fit.
Can I use Encanto dog parks for training?
Absolutely! Encanto dog parks are excellent for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice agility, socialize puppies, or help reactive dogs build confidence, all without the unpredictability of public dog parks. Many Encanto professional trainers use Sniffspot for client sessions.
Are Encanto dog parks fenced?
Many Encanto Sniffspots are fully fenced, but not all. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures if your dog doesn't have reliable recall. Listings show fencing details including height, gaps, and type so you can confirm it'll contain your escape artist. For reactive dogs who need visual barriers, look for solid fencing options.
